I'm confused about something (image-related)
This is a bit of an odd question, but I've been seriously wondering.
So on the forum here, we have an option that allows us to upload images, right?
And the images get uploaded to Servimg, where an account is required, right?
So when a member uploads an image to post, what Servimg account does the image go to?
I'm honestly confused; I thought that, when the image-uploading feature is used while posting, the poster automatically gets a Servimg account. However, I tried to log into Servimg out of curiosity, but it seemed as if I had no account.
So whose account do my images go to, exactly? The founder's? What if I uploaded an important image, thinking it was going to my own account, but it went to someone else's and I have no way to remove it myself?

Re: I'm confused about something (image-related)
Automatically, when a forumotion forum is created, a Servimg account is created along with it using the same information (Both email and password). So by default, the image hosting account used on this site is Roseh's. By default. It can be changed anytime through Misc > Image Host > Servimg account in the ACP, which is why I emphasize "By default", as the email/account currently being used doesn't match Roseh's current email information. So either she's no longer using the forum creation email on her profile, or one of the dozens of admins we used to have on here changed it themselves.
I suggest you ask Roseh if that's the email she used when she created the forum, otherwise we should most likely change it.
EDIT:
Actually, I looked into it a little bit more and actually, when you register, I believe you also have a Servimg account created when you join. The email and password stay the same for the account whether or not you change the information in your profile. So it turns out the images aren't uploaded on to Roseh's account, but your own.
I tested this theory on my testing site and it turned out to be true, I didn't even use a real email on the test account I created and I was still able to log in on Servimg.com with the registration information I used on the forum.
So yes, the images are uploaded to your own account, you may just not remember your registration password or maybe even your email.

Alrighty; that's what I thought. Looks like we'll have to sort things out with her next time she comes.
Let's all cross our fingers and hope she remembers (and knows how to access the account to delete images and such). Because I don't like the idea of my image floating around on somebody else's account beyond my control. xD

Oy, so I was right all along? That's really odd, because I haven't changed my email or password since joining the site. Maybe I'll just click the "forgot my password" button and get them to send me a new password; that might fix things.
