Jules' lame attempt at reviving her old boring art thread

Post by Jewelsky on Wed Jul 22, 2015 10:06 am

I was randomly doodling stuff for practice today when I figured I should make an art thread. You guys probably know that I used to have an art thread, of course. I'm going to assume that most of you don't know that in February (I think, it might've been January, but I'm not sure), Pinesage was being a censor ninja king or whatever when I was editing my art thread and basically ruined the whole thing. I seriously don't blame him, though. Most of that art was really old and awful, and I could use a new thread for this. So, I guess, thanks for ruining and deleting my thread so I could start over more easily…? xD Here goes nothing, whoo~

When I draw something, I typically put the date on the drawing.
The program I use for basically every drawing I make is SketchBook Express.

The Jirachi is the only piece of art I'm really proud of at all, so until I can find something else to put here, the poor thing will just have to sit here alone. ;-;

Jirachi drawn for Tanabata 2015:

Basically, in Japan, there's a festival on the seventh day of the seventh month (aka July 7th) called 七夕 (Tanabata) (which means "seventh night"), in which everyone writes a wish on a piece of paper. I don't participate in that; I just use it as an excuse to draw Jirachi every year, as it's part of the inspiration for Jirachi. Jirachi's my absolute favorite Pokémon; I own one myself, and I even have two t-shirts featuring it. I have a freaking Jirachi plushie. I hope it looks okay. I tried to make it as cute as possible. >w<

So that's all, I hope you enjoy my art and stuffff~

Thanks xD Fortunately, characters like Tony and Sketchbook aren't that hard to draw, so I can actually be motivated to draw them
