Gatherers: The RP

Ello!
This is a RP for my made-up story, Gatherers. It's like Warriors with squirrels. o3o
Of course, I'll be using different gather-groups [Clans] than the ones in the book.


SO FOR THE TERMINOLOGY

NAMING STUFFS
Names have two words in them. Squirrelings start with a diminutive name [example: Young Heart, Small Spot, Tiny Sparrow] and keep that name as a gather-learner, unless they become a medicine-learner. Medicine-learners and gatherers are named similarly to warriors; they can have any name as long as they keep the last part. [example: Kind Heart, Blue Spot, Flying Sparrow] When a medicine squirrel dies, their medicine-learner becomes a medicine squirrel, and when that happens, the first part of their name is replaced by the word Herb. So medicine squirrels have the name Herb ___. [example: Herb Heart, Herb Spot, Herb Sparrow] When a leader dies, their dying words are supposed to indirectly, prophetically, and mysteriously choose the next leader. The next chosen leader can be any gatherer in the gather-group, and the first part of a leader's name is always Bright. [example: Bright Heart, Bright Spot, Bright Sparrow] Gather-groups are named after a certain quality most of their gatherers have. [example: Fastfoot, Treeclimb]

OTHER STUFF
It is also forbidden for medicine squirrels or leaders to take mates or have squirrelings. If they have had squirrelings beforehand and are still with their mate, they do not have to leave their mate, but they are forbidden from having any more. Leaders are included as well, because their duty is just as important as a medicine squirrel's. They have the same level of connecting with Squirreltail as the medicine squirrels do. Also, like Warriors, relationships between gather-groups are forbidden. Taking a mate when you are under six moons old is also forbidden, as two moons are spent as a squirreling and four are spent as a gather-learner.

Herb Branch peacefully sorted through the herbs in his den.

Gray Stream quickly ran across the clearing, her fluffy tail waving in the breeze.

Young Pine curiously looked out of the knothole he called home and (quite clumsily) scurried down the tree for the first time. There were so many new things to see today! He couldn't wait to see what possible adventures could unfold.

She noticed Young Pine scrambling down a tree. "Hey," she said with a smile. "Your first time out of your knothole?"

Little Leaf, after a long time of begging her mother, scrambled down the tree, glad to be out of her knothole.

"Yup!" Young Pine excitedly replied to Gray Stream. It was really difficult to comprehend what he was seeing. "What's this thing?" Young Pine quickly asked, flicking his paw at a bush. "Ooh! Ooh! What about this?", he asked, quickly scurrying to a log.

Gray Stream sighed, leaping onto the log. "This," she joked, "is a STUMP!" She called out in a loud, deep voice.

Little Leaf clumsily scurried around, exploring.

Gray Stream glanced over, where Little Leaf, who was also just out of her knothole, was exploring. "Hello," she called.

"Oh." Little Leaf said. "Hi."

Young Pine scurried up to Little Leaf, eager to make a friend.

"HI!", he called out. "Are you exploring too? One day I'm gonna explore farther than the eye can see!" Young Pine excitedly said.

"Hi!" Little Leaf said. "Sounds cool! That is, if I don't beat you at exploring it." she added jokingly.

Herb Branch heard Gray Stream and some squirrelings outside, so he went to go check it out. He padded out of his den. "What are you up to?" he inquired amusedly.

"Hi!" Little Leaf squeaked.

"Oh, hi there!" Young Pine called out. "Just doin' a little exploring!"

Gray Stream glanced at Herb Branch with a smile. "How are you?" she asked.

Herb Branch gave everyone a warm smile. "Hello, there!" He swished his bushy tail.
