Flint looked at Robin appreciatively. "Thanks for training me." He said softly. He then climbed down the log, and sat on the ground, now leaning against the log. He started watching the other training session. His eyes growing slowly heavier as he began to fall asleep.

Bullet went ahead and punched Jessie in the stomach with a strong fist.

"AAAAHHHHHHHHH!!" The pain filled her with rage, and she threw a fast, hard left hook at Bullet's jaw.

He leaned back, but his chin was nicked anyway. "Now THAT was a counterattack!" He cheered encouragingly

"Dodge these, ok?" And he suddenly dashed forward with a flurry of punches and kicks.

Haku gave a single nod in response to Link, then ran back in the direction of the camp. She stopped roughly in the middle of the area, standing tall. "We've got company," she announced in a clear, serious tone, looking around at everyone.

"Anytime," Robin replied softly to Flint, giving a gentle nod. He then turned his attention to the others' training sessions as well. He sat and watched them for a few moments, then got to his feet. "I'm going to begin preparing camp for tonight, alright?" he told his young friend. However, as soon as he turned around, he noticed Haku and heard her announcement.
"Nngh...!" Robin gritted his teeth, alarmed by the sudden news. He was unsure of what to do next; should he run ahead and confront this intruder, or should he stay behind and guard the tired Flint in case the foe got past the others? He looked back, then forward, and simply stood where he was for now, looking alert.

Jessie flailed around on one foot, with her clothes getting nicked and scratched at every turn, but she herself remaining pretty safe...until she fell back onto her bum.

"Jessie, waiiiiiiit! Haku 'n Rivahstahr are back with somethin' tah say!" Meowth shouted after her. James was already going out to drag her over.

Flint's eyes shot open as Haku called to everyone.

Riverstar then ran into the current training session and jumped on Lucina's shoulder "You two! Wake up! Company" She snapped.

Bullet stopped when he heard Haku. His eyes grew wide, and he leaped down from his perch. "What's going on?" he asked seriously

"Wuh...?" Cookie appeared quite surprised at Riverstar's sudden appearance and announcement.

"Some wolfish shadow... thing is skulking around back there," Haku explained, looking back over her shoulder momentarily. "He SAYS he needs a place to rest, but he doesn't seem trustworthy at all. Everyone watch each other's backs tonight..."

Bullet nodded "Should we let him in?" He looked at Pit.

Flint forced himself to his feet, and walked over to his dad, leaning against him.

Riverstar nodded and turned her gaze to where Glitch had been standing moments ago.

Stopping in her tracks, Lucina turned her attention to the middle of the area at the sound of Haku's announcement, letting out a soft grunt of surprise when she felt something landing on her shoulder shortly afterward. Glancing to her side, she noticed that Riverstar was now perched atop it. "Company...?" she echoed back, expression filling with wariness as she briefly looked at their surroundings. After a moment, she returned her attention to Cookie. "It looks as though we'll have to continue this at a later time..." she noted.

"Hmm..." Pit murmured to himself, returning Bullet's gaze. "I'm not so sure... I mean, he seems kinda suspicious..." he responded in a hushed voice, trying to assure that only the Kattaca next to him could hear what he was saying.

Cookie nodded in understanding of Lucina's words. "We should probably meet up with the others, huh?" she asked, looking in the direction of the group that had gathered in the middle of camp.

"What if this individual is somehow connected to the Chaos Kin? In fact, it could even be a CREATION of the fiend," Robin pointed out. "Maybe it's trying to destroy us from the inside..."

"I think we should," Lucina agreed, her attention returning to the middle of camp as well. Quickly, she headed toward the group that had gathered there, her expression still wary as she glanced at the surrounding area.

"He could be..." Pit replied, still in a whisper. "It's really hard to tell... But, if we do let him in, I guess we could have some guards nearby to keep an eye on him," he suggested after a brief moment of silence. Hearing Robin's words, he slowly nodded his head, noting that their newest ally could be right.

Bullet nodded "I'd be happy to guard." Flint looked up at his dad "Can I help?" His optimism seemed to have returned in full, but he still held his side. Bullet looked at Flint thoughtfully. "I don't know" he admitted. "Your side seems to be acting up, so I don't want to risk you getting hurt guarding." Flint looked disappointed. "Are you sure there's nothing I can do?" "Just watch yourself. And if trouble starts, don't be fooled." Flint nodded determinedly. Bullet pulled him to his side. pressing him against it encouragingly

Glitch watched from the sidelines as the group conversed. His ear pricked up as him name was called repeatedly. When they would look back at him, he would be there, smiling cheekily.

Robin felt a twinge of guilt when Flint was denied guard duty because of his aggravated injury. He couldn't help feeling that, if he had been a little gentler during their training, this wouldn't be the case. However, he knew that now wasn't the time to be bogged down with such thoughts. "I could guard, as well, if my help is needed in that area," he added. "So, it sounds like we've decided on what to do." He turned to the group's leader, waiting for his response on the plan. "Pit?"

Hearing Robin mention his name, Pit turned his attention to the group's newest ally and nodded his head in agreement. "Yep; pretty sure we'll be going with this idea," he confirmed, casting the occasional, somewhat suspicious glance back in Glitch's direction.

"I'll go tell him about our decision, then, if that's okay," Haku announced. Finally, she turned around and began heading back in Glitch's direction. "Well," she began once she was standing before him once more, "we've decided to let you stay with us." Her expression then turned more serious, even a little hostile. "We'll be keeping a close eye on you, though. Just because you're allowed to stay here, doesn't mean you have our trust..."

Cookie stared at Glitch from where she was, looking quite nervous. "I hope nothing goes wrong," she murmured worriedly. "I know the others are strong, and will do a really good job guarding him, but..."

"I'm really scared of our new hitch..."
"If anything's scary, it's a manifest glitch!" Jessie and James said respectively, holding each other and trembling quietly.

"Relax!" Meowth assured with one finger in the air. "This guy's gonna be a real help to dah team! And if he evah steps outta line, I'll give 'im a piece of my mind!" Here, he unsheathed his claws.

Link was even more unsure than Team Rocket. He kept his distance from Glitch, and every other movement the malformed wolf-like creature made caused Link's hand to jerk up toward the hilt of his sword. The poor man couldn't even blink for more than a minute. His Triforce of Courage glowed faintly at all times, as if making a constant effort to keep the hero alert and defiant.

Glicth looked up as, Haku told him the news. He nodded intently. "You guys can trust me!" he chuckled, demonically. "I can be a real use to your group!" he winked, slyly. Glitch trotted towards Link, weaving in-between his legs. "You got nothing to worry about, pal." he said looking up at, Link with his un-blinking eyes.

Link stumbled backward off of the wolf and fell onto his back with a thud. He grabbed his sword and pointed it at Glitch threateningly...though he knew it probably would have no effect.

Meowth was trying to convince the others as well as himself that Glitch wasn't a threat. In an attempt to suppress the feeling of repulsion inside him, he walked up toward the animal in a friendly posture.

"Hey, hey, no need to scare da elf kid like that. I know you ain't gonna pull any funny stuff. Whaddaya say? Put 'er there, pal!" And he extended a paw out toward it.

Glicth shook Meowths paw and then slung his arm around him. "See? Just a funny joke thats all." He pondered over to Link, and helped push him back up onto his feet.

Cookie stood and watched the stranger from where she was, slowly pushing away her uncertainty. As she was the type of person who tried to make friends with anyone, she didn't want to be unwelcoming. Who knows? Maybe, if I get to know him, he'll be fun and nice? she wondered to herself, now finding herself growing slightly eager to introduce herself. However, she decided to wait until everything had been prepared in camp before speaking to him.

Robin couldn't help smiling slightly when things appeared to be going smoothly with Glitch. "Well, we'd better get started preparing camp for the night," he stated, looking around at his allies. "We should start thinking about supper, too. We haven't eaten since this morning, after all, and I'm sure we're all very hungry. I know I sure am," he chuckled.

"Yeah, me too!" Cookie chimed in, laughing as well. "I think we should probably bring lunch on tomorrow's leg of the journey. We won't be able to fight very well if we're starving!"

"So true. So very true," Robin agreed, sounding quite amused.

Riverstar just nodded, and disappeared, as she had ealier before Flint and Cookie were attacked.

Jessie and James' eyes glowed excitedly. Any mealtime was a happy time for them. On this journey, Team Rocket ate better than they'd ever eaten in their lives.

Link wasn't hungry. No particular reason; he just didn't have an appetite. So he decided to try helping cook and deliver the meal to the rest of the party.

Quickly, everyone got to work preparing camp for the night. Robin began setting up a campfire, Cookie started preparing the area where everyone would sleep, and Haku remained on guard duty.

Although fire-building materials weren't as plentiful here as they were in the field, Robin still managed to gather enough for a decent fire. Once he had gathered enough, he found an ideal location in the middle of camp, crouched down, and began to arrange everything. Aside from the newcomer, there wasn't much to worry about right now, so he worked at a relaxed pace. After a moment or two, he even began to hum quietly to himself.

Cookie piled large rocks around an area beneath the mineral-rich cliff, moving the stones as if they were mere pebbles. She figured that these walls, combined with the overhanging cliff, may provide more shelter to the group as they stayed the night.

Haku sat upon a boulder, keeping her weapon by her side. Mostly, she was focused on Glitch, though she glanced off into the distance every now and then, just in case.

The sun was beginning to sink toward the horizon now, and the color of the sky was beginning to take on a warmer hue. In addition, clouds had begun to gather, painted pink and orange by the sun.
