"Nothing much," Haku replied, sitting the cat on her lap and gently scratching the top of her head. "I just came here for a little walk... And maybe to run into some old pals or new faces."

"Same here." Haku took another muffin out of her basket and dug into it, scattering crumbs on the grass. "And another new friend. So far, I've run into one of each. I hope there's more to come."

"Hopefully they wouldn't be scared... I wouldn't hurt 'em. Wouldn't even try to." Haku shyly looked at the ground, slowly running her fingers through the grass. "Those wild-type cats tend to think... twolegs... are really dangerous, right? I guess it's for a good reason..."

"That's good." Haku smiled softly. "'Cause I'm not the kind of twoleg that they'd have to worry about... Some really could pose a danger, but I'm not one of them." Leaning back on her palms, she peacefully watched, not moving a muscle, as a fly came and landed on the tip of her nose.

After Toad watched the two talk, he ended his awkward silence. "Who are you?" he asked, pointing to Roseblossom. "And how do you two know each other?"

"She's Roseblossom," Haku answered, watching the fly as it now buzzed around her head. "We know each other 'cause we went on a quest together before; we traveled with a lot of other folks, too. Both animals and people. Wasn't too long ago at all, actually. We got to know a lot of people; a few cats, a unicorn, an elf-y princess and a similarly elf-y swordsman, a guy with a red hat and a mustache..."

[Yay, It's back~
I'll just start by throwing my fursona in, as I have no idea on what else to do, really. xD]

(Crossover World)

Suddenly, a familiar white-furred cat came tumbling out of a large gap at the bottom of a tree, close by to Haku and the others; she had been chasing some prey just moments before, and just happened to stumble into a strange and mysterious portal that had suddenly opened. Glancing back and fourth confusedly for a moment, she thought for sure that she recognized this place. Is this... that place where the recent quest happened? Slowly getting to her paws, she decided to explore for a little while, and maybe even encounter some familiar faces along the way.

Toad froze. "A guy with a red hat and a mustache?" Instantly, he knew that nobody else would possibly have that appearance. He undoubtedly knew someone that Haku had met! "That must be Mario!" Toad gasped. "You see, I'm from his world. I know him! Do you think you could maybe come in contact with him? He knows people all over the universe! He's got to know a way to and from our world." he explained to Haku.

"Ohyus; Mario...!" Haku nodded a little. "That was him. I dunno if I know how to contact him, but maybe he'll show up here... It's cool that you're from his world. Sounds like a colorful world." She giggled a little. "I wouldn't mind visiting it; maybe I'll get a chance to if we run into Mario... Assuming he'd know how to take us there."

"Maybe I'll get to try some of Princess Peach's freshly-baked cake!" Haku sounded quite excited. "I've tried it before when we were traveling with Mario, and it was really delicious, but it wasn't fresh... Maybe we'll be lucky enough to visit while one's being baked! Seeing as we know Mario and were his allies on the quest, I'm sure Peach would let us into the castle and have some cake..."

"Peach's cake is delicious! You really must try it fresh sometime." Toad's mouth watered at the thought of a slice of freshly baked cake. "Oh, by the way, Roseblossom, nice to meet you! I'm Toad." He stuck out his hand for Roseblossom to shake.

"Hey, should we go exploring a little bit...?" Haku asked, looking back and forth between Toad and Roseblossom. "Maybe we'll run into someone. And that would be fun... As long as they weren't a villain."

Toad nodded to Haku. "Sounds like a good idea." He glanced back at Roseblossom. "Oh, right. Sorry." His face went burning red-hot with embarrassment from not remembering that cats couldn't shake hands very well.

Haku pushed herself to her feet and grabbed her basket. "I say we head into the forest..." She looked in the direction of the forest, shading her eyes from the sun with her hand. "The forest is always full of stuff."
