Mandy jumped onto the nearby fence that overlooked her old Twoleg den. She remembered that when she was just a kitten, she was ready to dig a hole underneath the fence to explore. Her Twoleg would call her, pick her up, and they'd go back inside. With a grumpy mmrow, she would curl up into her bed and dream of finally tasting mice.
She shook her head to clear her thoughts. The Twolegs could come out at any minute and capture her...she jumped off, and ran away to her nest.
