Here's a club where we can discuss and freak out over the incredible Wings of Fire book series by Tui T. Sutherland! :D



There are only a couple basic/common sense rules that come to mind,

I got book 8 and book 9 recentlyyy and I finished book 8 but haven't started 9 yet (which I hear from comet is amazing so I plan on reading it tomorrow xD). I was always kinda interested in Peril but now that it got really detailed about her jealousy and such I really like her lol I might even add her to my favorites on my form :o Glory's still the absolute best to me though (and yeah, it's likely that Jules's favorite was also Glory since we tend to have the same favorite characters lol)

I had never drawn a dragon until this so it was super difficult but hey I tried
the picture's pretty bad since I wanted to quickly send it to comet once I finished and I can't take a better one cause my phone and sketchbook are on a different floor atm buuuut you can still see it okay I think

I love glory so much she's like a clever motivated version of me

Favorite book: That's a good one. Probably The Hidden Kingdom so far xD
Favorite character(s): Clay. Clay, and DeathBringer xD (I listen to the audiobooks, and his British accent, man)
Favorite Tribe: SeaWings, possibly? Or MudWings? SeaWings because they have some semblance of family dynamic and care, and MudWings because of the devotion the siblings have to each other.
Other: I just started the series like, a month ago, and I've fallen in love xD

I love the plot stuff that happened in The Dark Secret :D And the next three books are on hold on my kind of online library and I'm hyped.

Ok so, who else had trouble imagining the dragons at first? At least until it was realized that the cover was a picture of the dragon who's perspective that book was from xD

It took me forever to realize the cover of the first book was Clay. And for a good while I only knew how to imagine him while reading (or listening in my case), until I took a good look at the other book covers, and matched them to certain character's descriptions.

Heyhey thanks for joining, Mist and Twister! Really glad to see more fans!! Welcome (: I haven’t read these books in quite a while but I really love the series and I’m sure I’ll get really excited over it again once The Lost Continent comes out!! I should actually reread Darkstalker too, geez I loved it so much, I hiiighly recommend it to you guys

@Mist I agree, RainWings are great! And hehe yeah, Peril and Clay really do have some great moments
@Twister Clay’s a sweetieee he was the first character I called a favorite! I’ve never listened to the audiobooks ooh, intriguing. Deathbringer with a British accent lollll thanks for the info! And I seemed to picture the characters pretty well since I’d really looked at the drawings and data on the tribes that they provide in the beginning of all the books but it would be tough without that I bet

You're welcome ^.^ And yeah, it was quite tough. I had seen the first few pages with the descriptions of the tribes and all before, but it had been a while ago, and I had been in a hurry, so I didn't really get a chance to study the pictures and stuff.

Also yeah :D Most of the NightWings have a British accent. Save for StarFlight, and a few others. But dragons like Marrowseer (Marro?) do have that accent.

I haven't read these books but they sound so interesting I've been meaning to for a while! I'm broke and my library wouldn't have them rip

Oooh man I know of an app called Libby :O It's free, and it's basically an online library. I've been using it ever sense it was introduced to me. It's got audiobooks (which I prefer depending on the reader) and written books, and almost every book under the sun :D It's so cool! (The Wings of Fire books are hard to get a hold of tho, sense everyone wants it, there's always a bit of a wait list xDD)

No it’s tons of books, including e-books. Just about all you can imagine XD

Oooohhhh I like Glory and Deathbringer. It's sweet. The other relationships don't seem all that healthy.
