Roseblossom took a sip from the water and fell asleep in seconds.
Roseblossom ran along a starry path. 'Jewelsky?' she called out. 'Cheetahdapple? Petalflower? Where are you?' She bumped into a cat. 'Sorry.' She blushed. She looked up at the cat's face. Calm blue eyes gazed down at Roseblossom. The cat's black and white fur shined. Roseblossom smiled, recognising the cat. 'Blossomberry!' She rubbed against her former mentor as tears streamed down her face in joy.

Wheatpaw dreamed. Well, it was more of a nightmare.
"This is long overdue," Roseblossom hissed. She swiped her paws at WHEATPAW'S throat...

Roseblossom saw a large cloud next to her. She looked through it. She saw a cat that looked almost exactly like her slashing at Wheatpaw's throat. Roseblossom watched in horror as the orange and white apprentice fell limp. 'Is that.. me?' she muttered. 'How could I kill her? I'm right here! And I'd never do that to her!' A tear trickled down her face. Blossomberry looked at her. 'How is this happening?' Roseblossom cried.
'I don't know...' The black and white warrior muttered.

Jewelsky was having her own dream. "Cheetahdapple? Scissorleaf? Oceanbreeze?" she called. "Anyone, anyone at all?" But all she heard was her own voice, echoing softly through the misty camp of StarClan.
And suddenly, cold blue eyes looked down on her, seeming evil and wanting to destroy her.
"Hello." A figure of a cat stepped from the shadows. He was the possessor of the cold blue eyes. "You think Darkgem is your worst enemy, do you? Well, think again." He slashed across her muzzle, reopening her scars. Jewelsky cried out in pain, thinking: Something tells me these aren't StarClan's hunting grounds.

Roseblossom suddenly shrunk, completely against her will. She was no larger than a kit. "Blossomberry!" she called out. But Blossomberry wasn't there. "Wheatpaw, Jewelsky, where are you?" Roseblossom shouted. She suddenly had an idea. She thought about being where Jewelsky was.

Jewelsky wailed out in pain and anguish. "Who are you?" she asked the blue-eyed cat. "You'll know in time. But that time is not now. I have only one mission, and that is to destroy you." He raked down her chest with his long, sharp claws. She wailed out again. "Why are you doing this?" But there was no reply.

It didn't work. Roseblossom was still kit-sized, in the area where she was before. She started running in a random direction, hoping that she would make it to a place where she'd find a cat that would help her.

StarClan, heal me! I want to wake up! Jewelsky thought with panic. She decided to shapeshift. I have the heart of a lion... I will protect them, fight for them, and lead them. "The power of LionClan lies within me!" Jewelsky yowled, turning into a lioness once again.

Jewellion picked the blue-eyed cat up, thrusting him into the moonlight. She reverted to cat form, seeing him lying there. He was a mottled brown-and-ginger tom; one Jewelsky recognized. "Mapletail!" she gasped. "Oh, Mapletail, what have you done?" Mapletail got up to his paws. "I died for my father's honor. Then you told me he was a rogue. He deserved no honor at all! Now, I will kill you because of what you've done, liar!" Jewelsky closed her eyes. "Stop! My mother, Amberfoot, made the same mistake! Darkgem's father, Ashwind, is from CloudClan, and Darkgem got very angry, leaving us for NightClan! You could have gone to StarClan, Mapletail. But you have chosen the wrong path. The darkened path. And you will never see me again."

Roseblossom padded on through the forest. "Why aren't StarClan giving me a sign of some sort?" she mewed to herself.

"Ha! I'll see you, all right! I'll haunt you in your dreams! I'll stalk your every move! Think I don't know that you're in another forbidden relationship?" Jewelsky growled. "If you even think about touching my kits..." Mapletail laughed. "Why would I want to hurt them? I only want you." And Mapletail lunged for his mother's neck.

Wheatpaw huddled in the cold.
"GOODBYE, TRAITORS! YOU WON'T MISS ME!"
she yowled sarcastically. With that, she took her last breath and died.
Roseblossom and Jewelsky never saw her again.

Jewelsky squeezed her eyes shut. "NO, MAPLETAIL! YOU COULD HAVE BEEN GOOD!" she screamed.
But it was too late. Jewelsky was dying in a pool of her own blood. Mapletail, oh, Mapletail, you could have been good. she thought before her vision flickered off and left the world for eternity.

Roseblossom ran toward a steep hill. She lost her footing and her paws slipped, sending her plummeting down the hill. Her head hit a sharp stone. Little blotches of black started to cloud her vision. She started to feel dizzy. Her eyes fell shut as she drifted into unconsciousness.

Jewelsky woke up, gasping and panting. She discovered a nick in her ear and a long scar on her neck, but she was still alive.

Roseblossom woke up. "Ugh, my head hurts." she muttered. She looked in the Moonfalls at her reflection and found out she had a large bruise on top of her head.

"It seemed like StarClan was ignoring me almost entirely! I died like a mouse-brain, falling down a steep hill and banging my head on a rock." She showed her head bruise in embarassment.

Jewelsky nodded. "I was trapped in the Dark Forest, being treated like an outcast! StarClan seemed to have abandoned me at that moment."
