It's okay~
The WebkinzComet thing never bothered me really but lately it has gotten waaaay out of control. Basically no one can come on here with out you and Pine talking about it. It's also making a lot of people uncomfortable so yeah......

But the big thing that has been bothering me is the whole CB being cleared every two seconds. That has been annoying the life out of me, not to mention I really enjoy reading the archives so I know whats going on and what people are saying.
Not to mention it kinda makes me feel a little left out xD Thats probably just me though Eyeroll

And if you have to clear it constantly I'm pretty sure that means you shouldn't be saying it.

I've heard that there were problems with the way rule 20 had been written before, and finally decided to take it into my own hands. I've transformed it into something short, sweet, and proper.

It was a lot more rambling before, and instead stated that it was against the rules to joke about "death, sexuality, etc." (quoting from memory; I think that's exactly what it said, but if not, that's the main gist). It was really vague, and could easily come off as/be too strict or discriminatory or something. Now it just clearly covers one serious thing that I'm pretty sure most everyone here can agree on instead, with no dancing around or sugar-coating of any kind.

I deeply apologize for any inconveniences. When I wrote the rule it was at like 2am and I was very upset at myself... so I didn't put as much thought as I should have into the wording of it. I'm so sorry.

Nope, there's definitely more people on ETF who I'm sure appreciate the addition of this rule, whether it directly concerns them or not (and I assure you that there is currently more than one member whom it would protect). In this day and age, we really should be striving to maintain an accepting environment for all. Honestly, any argument against that is extremely outdated thinking; I would not hesitate to fight (ferociously) for any of you if someone tried to make you feel wrong for being who you are. I don't care if they "don't mean to"; if, for whatever reason, discrimination is "normal" thinking for them, I'm sorry, but their head is in need of a critical update.
Welp, I started to get kind of fired-up there; I actually feel really strongly about this kind of stuff. In any case, it's no problem at all. :3
