~ Lost Kit ~

Jewelsky nodded. "It's all worth the wait; you'll see. Not only do you get to train, you get a special bond with your mentor," she added, smiling. "Being an apprentice was really fun for me, especially since my mentor was a fox." It was also very ominous. I kept getting those prophecies I didn't understand.

Glimmerpaw sighed. "You can't, you have to wait until your ceremony!" Kits...

"Fine......" Apprentices I plop down on the grass

Glimmerpaw sighed, and sat down next to her. "You have to stop being so impatient. I'm still waiting to be a warrior, you know, and I'm fine with that. Aren't you just happy you're in LightningClan, and not a rogue?"

"I geuss..... I hope you can be my mentor..."

Glimmerpaw smiled. "I wish. But I'm still not a warrior. And you have to be an experienced warrior to be a mentor," she explained.

"But........ YOUR experienced"

Glimmerpaw shook her head. "No, I'm an experienced apprentice. I'm nowhere near an experienced warrior; I'm not even near a warrior."

"Will my mentor be nice?"

"Let's hope they are!" Jewelsky laughed. "I might be your mentor, and then they'd be nice." She flicked her tail with a purr of amusement.

"Ok......" I roll over

"But let's not get our hopes up, even though I am the only warrior in the Clan without an apprentice…" Jewelsky sighed.

"But y?" I roll into the siting position

"I'm not sure. I guess Froststar and Fawnstar never thought I was ready, even though it's almost been twelve whole moons," Jewelsky growled annoyedly. "But I suppose I can wait. I'll get an apprentice eventually."

Glimmerpaw sighed. "Yes, sometimes you have to wait quite a while. But I think the real reason that you don't have an apprentice is because there haven't been many kits lately." She thought for a moment. "I'm sure you'll be a mentor soon."

{And, in reality, Scarlet, if you're actually asking when you can be an apprentice, it usually takes about 4 months, if you're active on the WI Warriors Club, which you're not. So if you want to be Scarletpaw, you should post on that club more often.
