Brightshine looked down at Spiritstar. "I am going to save the Clans. There's no need for battle," she mewed. She briskly moved out of the den, and she leaped onto the Sand Stone. "Attention!" she called.

Brightshine called out, "My name is Brightshine. I am a StarClan warrior, and this is my mission. I must help you become the best Clan you can be. There's no need for battling. There's no need for extra training. The rest of StarClan has sent me here." She glanced at Spiritstar, who was gazing up at the sky, thanking StarClan. "I am taking the position of leader. Until I leave, Spiritstar shall step down, and she will help me with my duties. Don't worry, I'm not here for long. I'm just trying to help. Spiritstar isn't gone forever."

Spiritstar ran up. "I never agreed to that!" she spat.
"It's StarClan's orders," Brightshine calmly murmured.

Shadowstar purred. He wanted to talk to Brightshine. He padded out of the bushes and looked at her

Brightshine shook her head with a smile. "Now, I didn't say that," she purred. "Just...you don't have to fight as much as you do know. Believe me...all of StarClan can see that you can't handle a full-on war."

Flashwhirl looked up at Brightshine. He was about to ask something when Shadowstar jumped in. "What are you doing here?" he asked, his eyes narrowing slightly, fortunately knowing it would be dumb to go into battle—it could even be a dumb way to die.

Brightshine laughed. "Thank you. I am very lucky. Most kits stay a kit is they die young, but StarClan let me grow up. They let me become an apprentice, and then a warrior, and then they sent me on my mission."
