Attack of the CLONES

"Clones?" Roseblossom said. "I wanna try! How does it work?"

"You don't want to try," the clone Goombella replied, wincing as she glanced over at the copies of Gumball.

"Yes I do!" Roseblossom ran up to the copier.

"Don't do it…!" Goombella and her clone called at the same time.

But it was too late. Roseblossom watched as her clone stepped out of the paper.

"NO… wait, what's your name?" the second Goombella asked.

"Roseblossom." both Roseblossoms answered at once.

"NO, ROSEBLOSSOM!" The clone finished her sentence.
Goombella sighed. "No more clones! This could result in disaster!"

"Hi! I'm...Daisy."
The clone talked exactly like Princess Daisy, but she had a dark and menacing voice like no other. Princess Daisy backed away until she hit a wall; she was trapped.

"How could it result in disaster?" Roseblossom asked. "Having clones as friends could be the best idea ever!"
"Yeah, I agree with me!" the other Roseblossom added. "We'd share the same interests, and we'd never fight because we'd think the same."

"Not all clones think the same," the clone growled. She snatched Daisy's soccer ball away with a sly smile.

The original Goombella gasped. "Okay, this is getting way out of hand! There are too many Gumballs, and Daisy's clone seems to be… different! We HAVE to stop cloning ourselves."

"Did you say something?" Roseblossom #2 asked as a third Roseh was cloned.
"Really?" Roseblossom #1 face-pawed.

"No more clones!" yelled the Goombella clone.

"More clones?" Roseblossom #2 said. "Okay!" She ran toward the copier.
"STOP." Roseblossoms 1 and 3 said at once.
"Fiiiine."

"We don't need an even bigger disaster," Goombella #2 stated firmly.

"Attention all Gumballs!" the first alternate Gumball yelled above the hundreds surrounding him. "We have been misjudged for WAY too long! All these non-clones think that we're exactly the same as Gumball! But we're NOT! We're all individual! And if it takes the... uh... I dunno... the DESTRUCTION OF ELMORE to prove that, then that's what I'm willing to do! Now WHO'S WITH ME?"

The hundreds of Gumball clones started grinning and cheering, running away from the copier and towards the true Gumball's hometown of Elmore. One clone ran behind the others, panting, "Wait, can't we just talk to them?", but he was ignored by the angry clone mob.

"Oh, NO!" Goombella shook her head. "Didn't I say cloning was a bad idea?"
Her clone nodded in agreement. "All of these clones are only going to lead to destruction and chaos! Enough cloning already!"

The Daisy clone laughed, and threw the soccer ball back, hitting the princess of Sarasaland. "Oh, I'm terribly sorry, Goom-what's-your-face. I'll stop cloning, and I'll stop acting like a fool. Please forgive me." She looked down at her with pleading eyes.

"Um, not that your apology isn't touching," the real Gumball interrupted, "but I'm still not seeing an off button on this thing!"

Other Gumballs continued to pop out of the copier and run towards the mob heading for Elmore.

"Maybe if you put a plain-ol piece of paper over it, it'll stop cloning you." Roseblossom 3 suggested.

"Hey, that's a good idea!" Gumball said, running to grab an old, crumpled up piece of paper and sticking it on the machine, which started to spark. "Ummm, what's it doing?" Gumball nervously asked, backing away slowly.

"First of all, I didn't mean actual old paper." Roseblossom three said.
"And second of all," Roseblossom two added. "Maybe it's just cloning the paper. That can't be bad, can it?"

"But isn't it bad.... for the environment?" Gumball absentmindedly asked.

"Oh yeah, stopping the copying thingamabobber!" he reminded himself. "But how am I supposed to get close to it when it's sparking?"

"Wait for it to stop sparking?" Roseblossom #2 suggested. "Or send one of your abakajillion clones to try to do something."
