NightClan: Attack [Volume 1 Book 1]

Welcome to NightClan.
If you hate the world, and you just want to destroy it, please come. Evil rogue types like you are most welcome here.
NightClan is a Clan filled with many evil cats. There's Stealthlock, Killertwist, Deaddeer...
And me, Darkgem.
Although NightClan really has no official leader, I'm usually the one to take power.
Because I'm invincible.
There is only one way to kill me, and my younger sisters, Jewelsky, Wheatpaw, Goldenpaw, and Sage, haven't found it.
You want me to tell you?
Ha! Never.
I'd rather sell myself to their pitiful friend, Roseblossom.

Name ; Darkgem
Appearance ; A dark ginger she-cat with a white front paw. Don't confuse her with Squirrelflight. She's very short-furred and has brown eyes, and not quite as red.
Relations ; Jewelsky's evil half-sister. However, she hates her sister, and will do anything to kill her.
History ; Story 1 (realistic story): She was born to Amberfoot and Ashwind, a cat from CloudClan, shortly before Jewelsky's birth. Darkpaw grew jealous of Jewelkit, who wasn't born half-Clan and wasn't scorned for being unloyal. The day Darkpaw left to join NightClan, Jewelsky's family began to die and the only remaining member, Berrykit, had run away. Darkgem hates Jewelsky now, and has faced her in many a battle. Story 2 (sister story): She was born to Ambereye and another alien cat shortly before Jewelsky's birth. Jewelkit seemed to get all of the attention by doing nothing, and Darkpaw's amazing battle talents went unnoticed. Darkpaw jumped off her planet in a suicidal attempt because nobody cared about her, but she landed in something. A tree. She was on Earth, in NightClan's territory. She joined, and Darkgem was never the same again.

{THE UNSTOPPABLE PAIR OF EVIL}
Darkgem spotted Poppyclaw as she was p.adding along NightClan's dark territory.

"Hey, Darkgem," Poppyclaw said. "What should we kill today?"

Darkgem flexed her abnormally long and sharp claws. "First, some prey. Then, we get another go at those annoying Twolegplace rogues."

"Good plan." Poppyclaw said. He ran off in search of prey.

Darkgem also rushed off in her separate way. She spotted a vole and quickly killed it, tearing into its flesh for a meal. The warrior code didn't apply here. You ate as soon as prey was caught in NightClan.

Poppyclaw kept running, and he suddenly stopped. There were 3 small rodents in front of him. One was red, and two were orange. He slashed at the red one, but the smaller orange one pushed it out of the way. They ran off. Poppyclaw chased them, but they eventually ran out of site. It must be a sign, from the Dark Forest. he thought. Does this mean Roseblossom, Wheatkit, and Jewelsky will live? Or that I just need a bit more training so I can slaughter them... A smile formed across his face.

Darkgem picked up a scent. It's those nasty Twolegplace cats again! she thought in annoyance. Arching her back and hissing, she called out to her Clanmate. "Poppyclaw! Help me fight the rogues!" She slashed at a white rogue's face, who howled in pain but continued on with the battle. There were about four of them — but nothing Darkgem couldn't handle. Especially if she had Poppyclaw fighting alongside her.

Poppyclaw decided to deal with the rodents later. He ran toward Darkgem to help her with the rogues.

Darkgem sank her teeth into a rogue's neck when a kit jumped up to her, pitifully clawing her pelt which wouldn't have hurt for a cat that wasn't invincible. "Stop!" the kit wailed. "That's my mother!" Darkgem snarled. "What do I care if it's your mother? She deserves to die." She began to pick the rogue up again.

Poppyclaw pushed the kit aside and pounced on the rogue.

The kit cried. "Sand!" Her eyes flared. "I will always remember you. And what you have done to my mother!" She ran away with the rest of the rogues.

Poppyclaw rolled his eyes and watch the kit run off.

"Pitiful thing." Darkgem scoffed. "She couldn't hurt a limping vole if she tried."

"I know right?" Poppyclaw agreed.

"She must be like Wheatkit. Just a kit, but thinks she can stop all evil or something." Darkgem licked her paw. "It makes me want to gag!"

"Yeah," Poppyclaw licked his paw. "I have no idea what gets that in little kits' heads. They think they're all big and powerful. They have no idea what we're capable of."

"Almost nothing, even with powers like Wheatkit." Darkgem rolled her eyes. "I was a much more sensible kit. I realized I was worthless and meant nothing."
