"Bye; I hope so, too!" Cookie responded, waving at Lucina as she left.

Robin just happened to glance in Lucina's direction as she approached him. "Ah! Hello there, Lucina," he greeted with a little smile. "How are you? We haven't really spoken to each other much since our reunion," he remarked. "I guess we've just been so busy, huh?" For a moment, he looked almost sorry.

"Hello, Robin," Lucina greeted in response with a small, warm smile. "I've been well; though I agree... We haven't had much of a chance to speak for some time," she noted in agreement, briefly pausing before she continued. "We have been quite busy... Though, of course, it is to be expected in a situation like this." As she said this, she cast a glance of understanding at her friend and ally, noticing his near-sorry look.

"Yes, yes! Just like that," Pit replied to Meowth's question, though he quickly fell silent for a moment afterward. "... Buuut that's just one of the smaller things. It can do so much more... Like create any monster it feels like, as we've been seeing here."

"Yes... I suppose that's true," Robin agreed, giving his head one quick little nod. "Well, anyway, do you need anything?" he asked in a friendly tone. "Or is it nothing in particular? ... Well, whatever it is, I'm all ears. What's on your mind?"

"Well, it isn't anything serious," Lucina answered in a reassuring tone, briefly going quiet as she wondered how to explain what was on her mind to Robin. "I was just introduced to something rather interesting by one of our allies; Something I've never seen before, which is apparently used for celebrating..."

Robin's expression grew curious. "Oh? You mean they introduced you to one of their homeworld's customs?" he asked, sounding genuinely interested in hearing about what his friend had learned. "That is interesting. Care to tell me about it? What is it, exactly?"

"Yes; precisely," Lucina confirmed with a small nod of her head. "Now, about what exactly it is..." she continued, trailing off momentarily as she thought back to her conversation with Cookie. "I believe Cookie described it as resembling "clapping with teamwork", or something like that."

"Clapping... with teamwork?" Robin looked a little confused. "I'm sorry; I don't think I follow... If it's possible, do you think you could demonstrate to me what you mean?" he asked, trying to imagine what this could mean. "If it's okay with you, of course."

"Of course," Lucina responded, realizing that her description must have sounded somewhat vague to Robin. Suddenly, she raised her hand in the air exactly as Cookie had done earlier as a demonstration. "High five...!" she shouted, intending to stay as similar to her young ally's example as possible.

"Huh...?" Robin appeared to be even more confused after Lucina's demonstration. After all, he didn't see anything related to clapping here. However, thinking that he may be expected to respond, he tried his best to mimic his friend's example. He raised his hand, sort of spreading his fingers apart a little. "High five...!?" he shouted somewhat quietly, unsure about whether or not he was doing this correctly.

"Not quite; though my explanation was rather vague... My apologies," Lucina replied, slowly putting her hand back down. "But we could simply try again, of course," she continued in an understanding tone. "Basically, the two celebrating individuals are suppose to clap the palms of their hands together," she explained, proceeding to raise her hand again. "Now, once more...? High five!"

"Oh! I see what you mean now," Robin exclaimed, nodding his head. "Okay; let's try this again..." Once again he raised his hand. Then, very gently, he pushed it forward, causing his palm to lightly collide with Lucina's. "High five!" he shouted triumphantly, though a trace of uncertainty could still be detected in his voice.

"Yes; now you have it," Lucina chuckled slightly, putting her hand down again once the high-five was finished. "You did seem rather hesitant, though..." she added after a moment, though her tone was soft as she said this.

"Yeah... I was a little," Robin admitted, looking down at the ground. "I just... didn't want to hurt your hand by mistake. N-not that you're weak or anything," he explained, his tone growing a little nervous as he went on. "Actually, you're one of the toughest people I know...!" he commented with an awkward little laugh. "It's just that-... Oh, you get the point," he finished with a sigh.

"I understand, Robin," Lucina tried to reassure her flustered friend and ally, casting a glance of understanding at him. "You were just being cautious... It was quite thoughtful of you, really," she continued gently.

Riverstar watched the scene from where she was. Curiously observing as they practiced this two-leg gesture. He looked down at her paws. Would she ever be able to preform a 'high-five'? Probably not. She looked back up again. Her gaze lifting almost automatically to the top of the mountain. Their destination. Her look grew serious.

Meowth thought for a moment. "Dey don't seem to be too scary," He mused. "We've been beaten' 'em easily enough. I ain't nevah got a reason to run from dose guys."

He looked back up at Pit. "Are you......ahh.....doin' OK?"

(Hi, I'm finally back after a really long time of being busy. This year I have a lot of new responsibilities which unfortunately took a lot of time away from me. I've read all the events that occurred since my hiatus, and thankfully it appears that there were only two battles. This post is mostly exposition to explain where Mike was most of the time, but consider me 100% back now. I really love this RP and have no intent to leave for such a long time again. My apologies for any plot holes or significant events that happened in my absence.

The days since the battle with the Monoeyes had been somewhat insignificant to Mike. As he was used to this environment by now, Mike was able to keep transforming triggers to a minimum. At this point, he had a lot to think about.

He was present for the battle with the wolflike creatures and the Lizarfos' attack on poor Flint, but he had no significant role. Although he had managed to stay as himself most of the time, there were moments when the others appeared. So far all it did was confuse people. As far as Mike could tell, no one was suspicious of anything yet.

With every passing day, Mike felt more and more ready to share the truth to his comrades. After all, they still thought of Rosalina as a friend. And they were very accepting of Riverstar's alter ego, "The Cat of the Water", right? Maybe they would be understanding of Mike's shameful, sadistic, sinister side, Mal, along with the other, less troublesome personalities.

The others had even made friends! Mike knew that Manitoba felt very comfortable with Pit and Link, while Vito, who had briefly shown up in the struggle in the forest, preferred Team Rocket. The gymnast Svetlana enjoyed spending time with Cookie, and the cantankerous old fart Chester liked being around Bullet and Flint. Mike himself, who had spent the most time in control, had grown accustomed to each and every one of them and now thought of them as friends. His only concern was that Mal would ruin his newfound friendships. So far Mike had been able to avoid injury, and by extension, triggering Mal, but with Flint's injury Mike knew that this conflict was very real and that his lucky streak couldn't continue forever. As a safety precaution, he continued to sleep separately from the main group, finding a secluded area to rest whenever the group set camp.

Mike wanted to stop thinking about his inner struggles, so he moved over to Pit and Meowth. Hopefully their conversation would get his mind off of his alters.

"Hey guys!" Mike exclaimed with enthusiasm. "How are you doing?"

Spontaneously, Meowth flew about ten feet in the air squealing. He landed flat on his back with swirls for eyes and a dizzy monotone in his voice.

Noticing that Mike was approaching him and Meowth, Pit quickly turned his attention over to his other ally, waving a little in greeting. "Hey, Mike!" he greeted cheerfully. "I'm pretty good," he added, briefly returning his attention to Meowth as the Pokémon suddenly flew into the air, looking quite dizzy upon falling to the ground once again. "Whoa; you OK??"

Meowth teleported to his feet. "HEEYY! DON'T GO SNEAKIN' UP ON ME LIKE DAT! DON'TCHA KNOW THE--" when he took a second look and saw the friendly face, he hung his head in embarrassment. "Oh! Hey, Mike....heheheheh..."

Over the course of an hour or two of uneventful journeying, the group had made it out of the forest and onto the rocky mountainside. Eventually, they reached a somewhat-flat area below a smallish cliff; a perfect place to set up camp for the night. Though nightfall wasn't here yet, it would be soon enough, and the group had needed to find such a place in time.

Haku, who had been walking toward the back of the group this whole time, took a seat on a rock. "I'll just stay here and keep watch, if that's alright," she announced somewhat quietly to the rest of the group.

Cookie instantly ran up to the cliff and began to admire it. "Whoa, LOOK!" she shouted, placing a hand against the rocky surface. "There are all kinds of different minerals and stuff here! It sparkles!"

Flint watched Cookie as she ran to the cliff. And only after she mentioned it did he mention it's unique shininess. He ran over and also rubbed it with his hand "It's so rough!" He exclaimed softly, in awe. "I wonder what minerals there are here?"

He looked it up and down. "COOOL!"

"I dunno," Cookie responded, turning to Flint, "but they're pretty! Even if they're not rare or anything, they're nice to look at."

Robin came to the center of the area, carefully placing a small pouch of items he had been carrying safely beside a boulder. "Looks like we've found a place to set up camp tonight," he noted to nobody in particular. "We're a bit early, too... We should take advantage of this spare time. Maybe a little training is in order?" he thought aloud, his eyes wandering across the sky, a finger resting on his chin.
