"Okay." Gatorjaw purred.

Sandshadow smiled. I was like that once with Bluecreek... he thought.

"Great! Let's go, then." Rainshine mewed, smiling. She headed out of camp, pausing just outside the entrance to wait for Gatorjaw.

I'd love to go hunting, but I don't want to bother them. Stormsand thought as she curled her tail around her paws, smiling.

Gatorjaw ran up with Rainshine.

Stormsand glanced at the two. Wonder if I'll ever be with someone...?

Rainshine purred as Gatorjaw approached her. She strolled with him in the direction of the swamp, pausing every so often to scent the air for prey. "So, what are you hoping to catch?" Rainshine asked cheerfully. "I'm hoping we can return with a huge load and impress Sam. We'll show him how skillful real warriors are, right?" she said with a twitch of her whiskers.

Stormsand glanced around at the cats who were still near her. "So, now what are we supposed to do?" she inquired, still looking around at the group.

"Yeah." Gatorjaw smiled. Because we are totally tougher than a dumb little kittypet.

"What do you even do normally when other cats are out doing stuff?" Stormsand asked.

"I don't know... try to do other stuff." Lynxtail said. 

"Hmm..." Secretleaf muttered. "Well, I guess I should get some more herbs."

"Would you mind if I helped you and saw what the different kinds of herbs were?" Stormsand asked.

"Sure." Secretleaf said.
"We can go back to the park and collect some more of those flowers." Sam suggested.

"That's a good idea, we'd really need them in case we come across any potatoes again." Runningmoon replied. "And I've never been to this 'park'. Shall we go?"


"Great." Rainshine laughed. "We'd better start finding trails soon then." She parted her jaws to scent the air again, this time catching what she was almost sure was some prey-scent. "This way." Rainshine indicated, leading them on towards the scent. "Hey, it sure is nice to be alone again, out of camp." she sighed, smiling at Gatorjaw as they walked.

"I've been there a few times." Stormsand responded. "But we can go to collect flowers just in case any of us would get poisoned by the potatoes or something else."

"Alright, let's go!" Sam said. "This way!" He headed off toward the park.

"It sure is." Gatorjaw said. "No other cats annoying us. Just me and you."

Stormsand trotted after Sam. "All right, then!"
Sandshadow got up. "I'll come with you."

"I will too." Lynxtail said.

Stormsand purred. "Then let's go!"

"Okay!" Sam walked in the direction of Twolegplace.

Stormsand and Sandshadow followed after Sam.

Sam ran all the way to the park, making sure Sandshadow could catch up.

Sandshadow followed Sam as quickly as he could.
