"Just because I'm _____..." - Super Smash Bros. Edition

Here's a little idea for a game I got while playing SSB4. Basically, it's about characters and their "stereotypes" in Smash.

Allow me to explain with an example:

"Just-a-because I'm-a-Mario, doesn't-a-mean fireballs are all I know. Have-a-you met F.L.U.D.D. yet?"

See, you take a character and a "stereotype" (whether it be a move or taunt that people always associate with the character in Smash, or something purely character-related), and you prove it wrong... or something like that. xD

Soyeah; that's it. Now let's get to debunking those stereotypes.

Hi I'm Shulk. I know you don't know me very well, but just because I say it doesn't mean I'm really feeling it. I'd tell you why, but I don't wanna spoil my awesome game. Seriously, go play it. Ya bunch of jokers. :3

Um... Just because I'm Robin, and I can use magic, doesn't mean tomes and spells are all you can expect from me. Does "Levin Sword" sound familiar to you? ... At all?

Just because I'm Bowser, DOESN'T mean you can kill me in one hit by pressing a BUTTON! Feel the wrath of the Koopa King! >:D

Just because I'm Link, doesn't mean that I have to be in love with Zelda. Come on, you think I have time for that sort of thing? Also, I'm sick of you guys getting our names mixed up!

Just because I'm Marth, doesn't mean I only know Japanese. I can speak English too, it's just that I often prefer speaking Japanese since that's what I've been speaking since before my games were able to be released outside of Japan. Also, no, Ike is not my brother. Lucina, however, is my great-great-great-great-great- *many greats later* granddaughter, so yes, we are related.

Just because I'm Piranha Plant doesn't mean I didn't deserve a spot in Smash! I got lil nub feet. If you can look at those and still complain about me getting in, you need help.

Just because I'm Byleth, and there have been many Fire Emblem representatives before me, doesn't mean I'm unoriginal. I'll be bringing several weapons to this "Smash", and even my sword has its own qualities.

Just because I'm Lucas doesn't mean I'm a terrified kid who needs help all the time! My friends and I singlehandedly destroyed capitalism, for goodness' sake, but I basically get relegated to "blond crybaby Ness" at this point. I get anxious sometimes and all, but I'm not a total softie.

Just because I'm Meta Knight doesn't mean I spam side-B. You guys believe me, right? Would I lie to you?

Just because I'm Geno doesn't mean I'm actually gonna get into Smash. :")

Just because I'm Sans doesn't mean I was too lazy to actually go to Smash, and instead sent some random guy in a well-made costume of me! OK.... actually maybe it *does* mean that.

Just because I'm Ness doesn't mean I'm used to using PK Fire. Seriously, I had to learn this just for Smash. If you think me using it is annoying, you absolutely wouldn't have survived going on a long, tiring adventure with Paula.

Just because I'm a Rathalos doesn't mean a Monster Hunter is getting into Smash anytime soon. Being a boss fight isn't enough for you?

Just because I'm Kirby doesn't mean I'm actually competitively viable?? For some reason??? I'm literally Sakurai's child here… why am i still this bad

Just because I'm Lucina and I look like a Marth double doesn't mean I'm his girlfriend or something. I'm literally his great-great-great-great-and more greats granddaughter... Chrom is my dad.

Just because I'm Villager doesn't mean I'm some unstoppable force of evil. I'm just trying to run a town here; I can be your angle or yuor devil.

Just because I'm Joker doesn't mean you have to meme on me having a gun attack! Just look at Diddy!

Just because I'm Porky and I'm still not even a spirit doesn't mean Nintendo was gonna care about the 30th anniversary of Mother at all and put me in, and you guys are all fools for thinking so! Spankety spankety spankety!

Just because I'm Mr Game and Watch doesn't mean I rely on luck and don't use strategy! I have so many strong attacks besides hitting you with that 9! I can juggle you through the stage without even looking! Don't sleep on the old characters!

Just because we're the Ice Climbers doesn't mean we're utterly broken anymore, sadly. But it at least means we're still adorable!

Just because I'm Sonic doesn't mean that Smash is the only fun game I've been in in over a decade! Generations and Mania exist!
