Trapped: An RP by Glimmer

"Yeah, I'm fine," Vivian responded, her breathing slowing back to normal. It was a lie, of course; Vivian wasn't anywhere near being remotely okay. She'd just gotten slammed with the hardest emotional breakdown she'd ever had, and it was awful.

"Okay." Skippy meowed. "Well, if you ever need anyone to talk to, I'm here."
"Roseblossom?" Black barked. "That's such a long name! That means your owners must be really really fancy!"

Glimmerwing was still trying to figure out what to do about their situation, when she heard barking. "A dog!" But, strangely, the dog looked rather friendly. "I'm...Glimmerwing," she said cautiously.

"Woah, two fancy names!" Black yapped. "What, do you live together?"

Vivian couldn't do anything but stare on and watch the cats introduce themselves to the dog. She tried her hardest not to zone out again—she knew the consequences.

"And I'm Vinetail; nice to meet you!" Vinetail introduced himself to Black. "We don't live together most of the time, but we all woke up here this morning and have been trying to find a way back to our Clans. Did the same thing happen to you?"

"Yeah! I woke up, and I was suddenly here, and this place is so cool and everyone's so friendly!! And maybe we can all be best pals and go on awesome adventures and--"
"Be quiet." Skippy meowed, slapping his tail over Black's mouth.

Vivian gave a small laugh at Black, trying her hardest to leave behind and forget that emotional moment, leaving no remnants of it in her memory, but failing majorly and trying as hard as she could not to cry.

Glimmerwing looked at Vivian, and noticed her upset expression. "...you alright?" she asked carefully.

Black looked at her. "Yeah are you okay? If you're not, I can help you feel better. I can lick your face! Destiny always laughs when I lick her face, so I know it helps! I love licking faces! Every time someone's face gets close to me, I have an uncontrollable urge to lick it, so I lick it! See?" He licked Roseblossom's face.
Roseblossom wanted to attack Black, but she knew it wouldn't be a good idea, especially now.

Vivian gave a tiny smile. "… That's very thoughtful of you, Black, but… no, thank you. I think I'll pass," she replied. "It's just that… well, didn't I tell you about that friend Mario I had a long time ago…?" Vivian tried not to burst into tears at the mention of his name.

"Yeah, you did." Roseblossom said.

"I… um… he…" Vivian's voice cracked. Oh, gosh. How am I supposed to tell them what I couldn't tell him myself? She took a deep breath. "I don't want to talk about it!" That was another lie; she actually did. "He was just… I wanted to be more than friends, and he didn't even notice me," Suddenly, she felt a tear rolling down her face. Well, here we go.

"Aww," Black whimpered. He couldn't help it. He ran up to her and licked her face.

Vivian was slightly startled when Black licked her face, but sadly smiled just a tiny bit as another tear made its way down her shaded face. She stroked Black's fur with a gloved hand. "Licks can't fix this; I'm sorry," she whispered to him. Nothing can.

"I know.. I just had to do something." Black said. "I don't like seeing my friends sad..."

"It's all right. I don't like it when my friends are sad, either," Vivian responded. "Even if you can't help, it's good that you tried…"

Glimmerwing raised her eyebrows. That's it...? She shook herself and quickly said, "Oh, I'm sorry. That's awful."

"I don't want to interrupt your fluffy friendship moment," Whiskers said. "But, Big Tail Cat was right. Moping around won't get us anywhere." By 'Big Tail Cat' she meant Vinetail. "Maybe if we get to work, we can all get back to our families. And maybe you can go back to Mario and tell him how you feel, Vivian."

Vivian shook her head sadly at Glimmerpaw, then glanced at Whiskers. "I can't. Not just because I'm too afraid, but because I had to leave him," More tears streamed from her eyes, hidden by her pale rose-colored curly bangs. "I'll never see him again. Not ever!"

Whiskers wanted to leap onto her lap and purr as loud as she could and assure Vivian somehow that it would be okay, but she couldn't; not in front of so many others! She did have a soft spot, she hated to admit, and she did not want anybody to see.

Glimmerwing sighed. She wished there was some way she could help. 
She glanced at Whiskers as if she was saying, What can we do?

Vuieno backed away from hte others sadly, making sure none of them noticed. He silently waited for Vivian to feel better, but knew there was nothing he could say or do to help her. "After all," he thought to himself, "I'm in no position to give advice about romance... especially with what happened to me before..." He looked around for something, anything to distract him from Vivian's sorrow, but found nothing.

With no other choice, he uncomfortably padded up to her and said, "Look, Vivian, Mario clearly means hte world to you, and I understand tahtt. But hte chances of you ever seeing him again are practically nothing if we stay on this island. If we work together to escape, then hte odds of you reuniting are much higher. If we help each other, than, StarClan willing, I'll do all I can to help you find your lost one."

"And I too." Roseblossom stepped forward.
"ME THREE!" Black hopped up and down. "I WANNA HELP PLEASE CAN I HELP?"
"Whiskers and I, too." Skippy said.

Glimmerwing stepped forward, trying to build up the courage to speak out, especially when she barely even knew them.
She gulped, and began to talk. "I agree with Vinetail. Whatever has happened, we need to stick together, and overcome all of this. If we don't have one another, we can't do anything," she continued, "I can see how you feel about Mario, Vivian...but I promise you that if we all come together, to get off of this island, and we go back home, I will help you find Mario. I'll do the best I can." She looked up. "As long as we continue to work together, we will no longer be trapped here."
