A look of confusion briefly appeared on Robin's face when he heard the term "Pokémon," as this was completely foreign to him. "Uhh... Well," he began, "in terms of creatures... We have animals such as deer and bears in the forests, fish in the rivers and seas, and birds in the skies. Those are only some of the more "regular" creatures, though. Some of the more magnificent beasts in our world include pegasi and griffons."

"Ooh!" Cookie spoke up, a question popping into her mind. "Are there dragons in your world?" she asked, sounding almost hopeful.

"Oh, there are dragons, all right," he responded with a little laugh. "Some- particularly wyverns- can be tamed by humans, like virtually any beast. Others, however, have unfathomable power. Many of these legendary dragons actually take on a human-like form to walk among us, and we refer to them as Manaketes in this form," he explained.

All of a sudden, Robin looked down to see a plate in his hand. "Oh! Thank you so much!" he called to Flint, topping the pancake with some syrup. "My stomach is kind of burning with hunger... But this should put a stop to that." Briefly licking his lips beforehand, he quickly dug into his meal, slurping and gulping it down like a hungry wolf. "Mm-MM...!"

"So there ARE Pokemon in your world!" Jessie exclaimed excitedly. "And tamable by humans, too! I bet they'd be very rare and valuable," James added. Meowth didn't say anything. By this point, the journey had been so long that stealing Pokemon was far from his mind. But all three were excited when food came to their plates, and they scarfed it down in a couple minutes flat.

When the food came to Link, he looked up with a grateful nod. At first, he planned to eat a little, then store the rest as it became necessary to heal from battle. However, after one bite, having had only Chateau de Romani and expired lon-lon milk for longer than he could remember, he was so taken with the sweet, filling taste of maple syrup pancakes, that he ate his dish more quickly than Team Rocket.

Eventually Bullet flipped the last few pancakes putting the pan down on the dirt near the fire, he handed the first one to Lucina, then to Pit, then he handed one to Haku, and yet another to Nagisa, and carried the last two over to Flint. He sat down next to Flint, and handed him his plate. Slowly beginning to eat his own. Flint scarfed his. He was exhausted after their last battle. (though you wouldn't tell) It wasn't to much longer after that, when Riverstar came back with a mouse. Plopping herself next to the logs everyone was sitting on, and beginning to eat it.

Once all of the preparations seemed to be under control, Lucina headed toward the same log as Robin and proceeded to sit next to her white-haired friend. Having heard most of his conversation with Meowth, she nodded her head a little in agreement with the explanation he had given to the Pokémon, though she looked as though she were about to add something else, a noticeably serious expression appearing on her face as she briefly focused her gaze on the ground.

Lucina was quickly interrupted from her thoughts, however, when she suddenly noticed Bullet approaching her with a freshly-cooked pancake. "Oh...! Thank you," she spoke, smiling at her new friend and ally as she politely accepted it from him. "It certainly looks delicious," she commented, gazing at the morsel as she realized just how much of an appetite she had worked up over time.

"Aw yeah; thanks!" Pit's face lit up instantly as Bullet made his way over with another pancake, his wings briefly fluttering with enthusiasm as he accepted it, proceeding to begin devouring it within moments.

Once Bullet had reached her with yet another of the fresh pancakes, Nagisa politely dipped her head in thanks upon accepting it.

Haku bowed her head in thanks as she was given a pancake. In a somewhat-uncharacteristic way, she slowly munched away at it.

Before long, Robin was already finished eating. "Ahh... That really hit the spot," he commented, resting a hand on his stomach.

Cookie had just finished hers, as well. "I know, right?" she agreed with Robin, wiping away a bit of syrup that found its way onto her cheek. "Bullet and Lucina did such a great job cooking!"

"That, they did," Robin responded with a smile. "Thanks, you two; that was delicious," he complimented them, looking at one, then the other.

By now, the sun was quickly beginning to set, bathing the field in orange light. It seemed that the group would have to remain where they were for the night, and continue moving forward in the morning.

Flint slipped off the log, and lay with his head on the log, and he just closed his eyes peacefully. Riverstar climbed onto his stomach, and enjoyed curling up in it's softness.

Bullet finished his and smiled at Cookie's comment. "Thanks." he said happily.

After a couple minutes, Flint's breathing became soft and rhythmic. He had become very restful. Riverstar and Bullet actually stayed mostly alert. Though the sunset, and full stomachs sure made that pretty hard.

Hearing Cookie and Robin's words, Lucina paused briefly between bites of her pancake (which was now nearly gone), casting a glance at each of them. "Thank you," she responded with a smile and a small, single nod of her head. "Honestly, though, I was mainly just assisting Bullet," she noted with a slight chuckle.

It wasn't very long before Pit had devoured his entire pancake, a satisfied expression appearing on his face as he leaned back a little to stare at the sky. Quickly noticing the orange tint of the sunset, he wondered if the group should stay where they currently were for the night.

Cookie, too, found herself slowly drifting off to sleep. In a very similar fashion to Flint, she slid onto the ground, resting her head on the log she was just sitting on. Rather than a dangerous quest, in this very moment, she felt like she was on a carefree camping trip.

Even as night was quickly approaching, bathing the land in shadow, Robin decided to stay up a little longer. He figured that, in addition to doing anything that needed to be done tonight, such as putting out the campfire, he could keep an eye out for danger, at least for a little.
Treading lightly, and very careful not to awaken (or step on!) those who had dozed off, Robin went to speak with Pit. "Hey," he began to ask in a whisper, "mind if I put out the fire for the night now? Or would you rather I wait?"

Team Rocket had already fallen asleep. Link wasn't tired yet, so he played his ocarina quietly. It was about the only thing he could do to amuse himself.

He looked up and watched Robin speak to Pit about the fire.

Similarly to Robin, Lucina wasn't yet ready to fall asleep for the night. Instead, she decided to stay where she was currently sitting and watch out for any signs of danger, her gaze fixed ahead alertly.

"Oh, hey," Pit greeted Robin in a hushed voice as his newest ally approached him. "I think you could put it out now," he stated as he glanced around the clearing, noting that some members of the group were already asleep.

Bullet just leaned against a stump behind the log he was sitting on. He crossed his arms his legs and lowered his head. It wasn't too long before he was asleep. (No matter how much he may have wanted to stay up and watch with Robin and Lucina, distracting that Maurthe (did I spell that right?) Doog took allot out of him.)

Riverstar was asleep with Flint's stomach as her bed, but her ears pricked, her eyes opened, and she made a soft 'mew?' when Robin stirred to inquire of Pit. Her ears where then twitching as the two of her alleys talked softly

"Alright; thank you," Robin replied with a small, single nod.
Trying to be as quiet as possible, Robin took the empty pan that was used to make the pancakes, then crept off to find a small patch of land with no grass. Once he had found such a patch, he crouched down, and began to fill his pan with dirt.

By now, Haku had already fallen asleep, as well. She had chosen a spot somewhat farther away from the others, but not too far away.

"Umm......" Link murmured to get Robin's attention. He awkwardly looked at his Ocarina, deep in thought. Using his minor telepathy for anything other than his name, though, was a bit awkward. But he tried it anyway.

You have a sword.

You have a role to play.

You have a lot of the same things as me.

Right?

As Robin was gathering the dirt to put out the fire, all of a sudden, he thought he heard a sort of voice. However, it was strange; it sounded almost as if it was echoing inside of his own head. "H-huh...?" he murmured, looking around in confusion. "I... suppose...?" he answered in a quiet, cautious tone. "Who is this...?" Although he had heard this "voice" once before, it was while he was distracted, so he didn't quite remember it.

The sound of Link's Ocarina made Riverstar flinch in startlemeant. Her head shot up, and it was possible to see a single crystal eye glaring at the maker of the noise. The silver face to which it belonged faintly lit by the fire. The feel of Riverstar flinching. caused Flint to groan, and roll over. Riverstar fell off him. Surprisingly noiselessly, for all the armor (Flint had taken off her) being right there. The aging leader, with a few agitated twitches of her tail, climbed back on Flint's side. "Next time" she vowed "I won't be thrown off."

Robin looked back over his shoulder to see Link, waving at him from camp. "Oh... Sorry; hey there," he responded, waving back slightly. "How are you doing over there?" he asked quietly, returning to his work. "I haven't known you for very long, but from what I can tell, you seem so... quiet. Is everything alright?"

"I think you're doing fine," Robin replied reassuringly. "Although, most of the time, people speak to one another with... well, their actual voice," he commented. "It's a little spooky when someone starts speaking to you from within your own mind." Just then, a thought came to him. "Unless... this is the only way for you to speak?"

Robin turned around to look again when he heard Link's attempt to speak with his voice. "Oh... I see," he murmured, feeling somewhat sorry. "I'm sorry; I didn't know... Forget what I said about this method of communication being "spooky," then," he told him. "I didn't mean that to be insulting or anything. Honest."

He looked down awkwardly.

....So...........this is where you tell me your life story. Right?.....Or is that different?

"Well, people don't generally tell each other their life stories just like that," Robin explained with a little chuckle, though calmly. "People learn about one another at a more gradual pace, as friendships grow stronger."

As she continued to watch over the clearing from where she sat, Lucina would occasionally feel her eyelids beginning to droop shut, though she kept persistently shaking it off. Although she knew she couldn't keep this up for the entire night (having grown quite worn-out from the events of that day), she felt that she should keep watch for at least a short while longer.

By this time, Pit had drifted into into a peaceful slumber, feathery wings lightly wrapping around his arms.

Nagisa, too, was now fast asleep, the sack filled with bottles of potion that she had been carrying placed directly next to her.
