Nursery and Joining

"You don't even care!" Leafkit growled under her breath.

Patchkit rolled her eyes.

Leafkit hissed.

Perfect... Patchkit thought.

Leafkit padded to the medicine den, not wanting anything to do with Patchkit.

Patchkit grinned.

Patchkit is revolting, ugly, mean... Leafkit thought of words to describe Patchkit.

Leafkit's so weak, ugly, stupid... Patchkit thought of words to describe Leafkit.

Falconkit peered out of the nursery to see Leafkit emerging from the medicine den. I hope she's okay. Why did they have to argue so much, too? Falconkit thought. "Don't you think you were a little rough?" he asked Patchkit.

Leafkit arrived at the nursery. She sighed. "Hi there, Falconkit."

"Hey, Falconkit!" Patchkit mewed.

"Hi guys," he greeted them. "So you two aren't like, enemies now are you?" Falconkit asked.

"Nooooo..." Patchkit lied.

Falconkit was uncertain. "Alright... well I hope this can be forgotten real fast. Let's do something fun!" he meowed.

"Okay!" Patchkit said. "How about we play in the clearing?"

"Okay, good idea." Falconkit said. He got up and ran out to the clearing.

Leafkit padded to the clearing, decided to have some of her first prey, and tore into a vole.

Falconkit laughed and noticed their pelts too. "We're sooooo filthy! I wish we could play in the mud forever, but we'd better get cleaned up before Mousefall sees," he sighed. "Let's have one final mud splatter before we stop! Grab as much mud as you can, and throw it all in the air at the count of three. It'll be all over us!" The kits gathered as much mud as they could hold and got ready. "One, two... THREE!"

Leafkit grabbed a huge wad of mud, flinging it in the air at full power and speed at the count of three. Everyone and everything was spattered with mud. Leafkit's pelt was thick and sticky from it. She laughed. "Licking won't clean this up! We'll have to go to the stream!"

"Yeah, we should!" Patchkit laughed.

{Oh wow, did I post in the nursery? O.o That wasn't supposed to happen, they're still in the clearing! Sorry...}

{That's okay. I was confused too... Anyways, I'm making a thread for the stream at the border.}

{Great, they'll go there next. Just pretend these last few posts were in the clearing, okay? xD)

"Alright, off to the stream then!" Falconkit said. He started running in the direction of the stream, to go wash up. It was pretty hard to run with slippery mud on his paws, he realized.

Leafkit followed Patchkit and Falconkit to the stream.

Patchkit padded into the nursery.
