Secretpaw slowly padded up and fell asleep next to Sandshadow.
"What if it doesn't work?" Lynxpaw asked worriedly. "What if StarClan don't know how to save us? What if we die in our sleep? What if-"
"Just do it." Gatorpaw said. He, Lynxpaw, Sam padded up and fell asleep.

In Sandshadow's dream, he saw Bluecreek. "Bluecreek!" he purred. "Please, tell me how to save these young'uns. They don't deserve to die this young."

Secretpaw slowly got up. She was in a sparkling forest. She didn't see any of the others with her. "Guys," she shouted nervously. "where are you!?!"
"We're over here!!!" Lynxpaw shouted back from where Sandshadow and the others were.
Secretpaw nodded and started to run in that direction.

Bluecreek purred, her silver glittering pelt rubbing against Sandshadow's. "It's all right. They will not die immediately."

"But wouldn't it be scarier then? Since it won't be over with quick and easily?" Lynxpaw said.
"Can you at least tell us what to expect?" Gatorpaw asked.
"But what will happen to me if I die?" Sam added. "I'm not a Clan cat."

Bluecreek turned to Lynxpaw. "No. StarClan is giving you a chance to live."
She then turned to Gatorpaw. "What do you expect? Do you want to know how to live? Or how the potatoes will kill you if you don't save yourselves?"
Finally, she turned to Sam. "Any cat who believes in StarClan will join these skies."

Rainpaw began franticly sniffing for unusual herbs. "It's so hard to smell anything in this place, it reeks of Twoleg stuff! Sam, can you pick up anything different?" she asked.
