The whooshing sounds of Bullet's attack woke up James. "POP-POP!!" His sudden cry was enough even to startle a very annoyed Link awake. As for the other two rockets, they were found with their heads buried in the cliff.

Bullet glanced over his shoulder once he heard James's shout. "Oh my. Sorry James." He whispered. "I didn't mean to wake you." Noticing Link staring annoyed at James, he added "either of you. Flint and I will take our training elsewhere." He guided Flint outside further, and a little along the path before saying "OK, your turn. Try as hard as you can." Flint nodded determinedly "OK!" He pulled his arm back, and swung it sideways. Nothing happened, and the punch was noticeably slower than Bullet's demonstration. "OK, try again. Faster this time."

Flint nodded, and tried again. His punch was slightly faster, and Bullet felt a slight breeze, but not much more. "Uh... OK. Try again, try putting more energy into the punch." Flint nodded. And this time, he punched a little faster this time, and there seemed to be a faint white echo of his fist as he punched. "Nice!" Bullet said, clapping. "Try it again."

Robin, who wasn't sleeping all that deeply to begin with, was also awoken by James' sudden shout. "BWAAAH!" He sat up with a jolt, panting slightly. Once he had gotten over being flustered, however, he sighed, glancing towards the horizon. "... Morning," he murmured, closing his eyes for a moment. To think, before long, we'll be fighting for our lives... For the safety of all that is good and just... Against a horrific force of evil...

Jessie and Meowth fell out of the cliff side, landing on James. The three of them argued it out, James remaining passive throughout. Link started getting his things together.

Lucina had also heard the sudden shout from James, causing her to quickly awaken with a jolt. Then, after simply sitting up in her makeshift bed for a moment and looking somewhat on edge, she slowly rose to her feet, brushing some stray hair away from her eyes. Looking around, she realized that there were no signs of danger anywhere nearby, causing her to breathe a quiet sigh of relief.

After a few more minutes, both Flint and Bullet walked back into the cave. Flint looked very disappointed, and Bullet was watching him as he entered the cave with a concerned look "You'l get it." He promised softly. Flint just sighed. "OK, dad." He walked over, and sat next to the probably sleeping Cookie. Wrapping his tail around his paws.

Bullet went over to his make shift bed, and started collecting his and Flint's stuff.

Cookie, who was indeed sleeping at the time, stirred when Flint sat beside her. Gradually, she, too, awoke, being greeted by the sight of her friend sitting there. "Ehh? Oh, hey, Flint...!" she greeted him as she sat up, rubbing her eyes. "Sleep well?"

"Yeeaaah I did." He said softly. He wrapped his arms around, and rested his head on his bent knees. (He looked much like Mabel in Sweater Town) "How about you." He said in a monotone voice. Though he acted disappointed, which he was to a degree, if one could see his face, he looked kinda scared.

"So...this is the part where we march to the final battle?" Meowth commented when everything settled down. "I guess we oughta get ready." "We are ready," Jessie spoke in an oddly monotone voice. She and James got up and stuffed their makeshift beds into their invisible-pockets-that-hold-all-the-everything. Link soon got up after them. His face was sullen but determined. His single shining Triforce glowed faintly on his left hand right through his gauntlet glove.

"I think I did," Cookie responded to Flint, appearing to pause and think. The tone of his voice, however, notably caught her attention. He sounded rather serious to her... That's right; today was the big day. The day of the quest's final battle. "So, I guess all the skills and stuff we learned on the adventure's gonna be put to the test soon, huh...?" she noted gently, with a slightly nervous smile.

"Yeah." he said, finally looking at her, with a hint of excitement in his eyes. "I guess it is!" He jumped to his feet, and wagged his tail excitedly "This is gonna be awesome! We're SO gonna win!" His eyes suddenly grew slightly concerned again "We will win it, right?" He shook his head "We've gotta get going! This is gonna be awesome!!!"

Bullet glanced at Meowth and Team Rocket "Yeah I think so." He glanced at Pit to see if he was awake. "You ready?"

"You bet we're gonna win!" Cookie chimed in as she, too, bounced to her feet. "It's gonna be the most awesome battle EVER!" Despite her excitement, though, she didn't forget the potential dangers. "Uh, all that cool stuff aside... Hope nobody gets too hurt," she commented sort of quietly.

"Me too." He whispered. He looked around at all of his companions. Bullet, Nagisa, Lucina, Pit, Link, Team Rocket, Haku, Robin, and finally his gaze landed back on Cookie. "Yeah... They should all be safe, though. We'll be taking care of them!" He got a smirk. "Every last one of us will come out of this. I promise."

At this point, Pit was beginning to awaken, and he soon sat upright, stretching his arms and wings out a little as he let out a rather large yawn. Soon afterward, he hopped to his feet, feeling a surge of motivation run through himself as he thought of how close they were to finally facing the Chaos Kin in battle once and for all. Curiously, he let his gaze travel across the area to see which of his allies were currently awake.

Of course, both Flint and Bullet were awake. Bullet was looking at him for a moment before he asked in a tone that said he'd asked it already recently, yet still as calm as ever "Do you think we're good to go?"

"No matter what happens, I think...we'll all be OK." Jessie smiled and wrapped her arms around her comrades. "Yeah! Always!" Meowth piped up. "After such a long time of failing in life together, even if we die today, at least we'll die winning together. As one sort of big extended Team Rocket." James added.

Link couldn't help raising his sword in a heroic pose. Of course it glinted perfectly against the sun--blinding the others a little bit in its glare.

"Huh?? ... Oh!" Realizing that Bullet had asked him a question, Pit turned to look at the Kattaca. "Yeah... I think so!" he replied with a quick nod, briefly glancing at each of his allies again.

Bullet nodded "Alright then. I think we probably should get moving. We're loosing time each moment we stay here." He glanced at Flint, happy to see his son back to his usual self because of talking with Cookie "They're good friends. I hope they stay that way for a good while longer now." He gave a large smile, and gestured to his son, who trotted over happily. "This is gonna be awesome!" He squealed happily. He glanced over his shoulder at Cookie "And we'll totally come out on top! I can tell!" Bullet laughed "I hope so."

Just then both of their eyes were hit by the gleam of Link's sword "OUCH!" Flint exclaimed. Covering his face to protect it from the light. Bullet was doing a similar thing "Link, watch it!" He growled slightly. Though by his tone and body language one could tell he wasn't all that mad.

The glare from Link's sword just happened to shine over the sleeping Haku's face. With a subtle groan, she shielded her eyes with her forearm, then sat up. A perfect way to start the day of the battle, she thought to herself grouchily.

"Alright..." Cookie smiled at Flint's response to her. "And I'll fight extra-hard to do my part in keeping all of 'em safe, too, 'kay?!" she called to Flint. Just then, though, she, too, was blinded by the light reflecting off of Link's sword. "KyaaaaaAAAAAA!!" Frantically, she looked around for the source of the light, though she didn't clue in right away.

Robin, who had been on his feet for a few moments now, joined up with the rest of the group. Thoughtfully, he looked around at his allies. Were they all awake? Did they appear to be in good condition? Had they all gotten the proper training they needed to survive the coming battle? It was now that he felt more nervous than he ever had during their quest up until now. He knew that there was a very real chance that one or more of the faces he saw right now, one of the individuals with a story all their own that he came to know over the course of the journey, could be lost forever by the time everything was over. No matter how many times one goes through the experience, losing a friend and ally never becomes any easier. He just hoped from deep within his soul that they would all be able to brave the darkness and emerge with their lives.

Haku, seeing that everyone appeared to be gathering, rose to her feet and joined them. As she often did, she remained silent, with her face sporting a highly-serious expression.

When Link realized what his sword was doing, he quickly pulled it down and slid it back into its back-mounted sheath.

Jessie offered, "So...I guess we can help anyone who still needs to get ready to go." "Let's make it snappy, though," Meowth added. "The quicker we find this Chaos guy, the sooner it'll all be over."

Bullet nodded to Team Rocket. He looked around and realizing everyone was (most likely) awake and generally ready to go, he said "should we move out?" Flint bounced up and down "Yeah! I'm SO ready!" Bullet laughed, grabbed Flint, and swung him over his shoulders. Flint held on to Bullet's head, while Bullet held on to Flint's knees to hold him up. Once Flint was settled on Bullet's shoulders, Bullet kind of bounced and spun in a circle. Flint happily squealed as if he was younger than his true age as the world spun in his vision.

Glad to see the high-spirits that glowed from some of his allies, Pit stood tall and turned to meet Bullet's gaze. "Yup... We've gotta start moving now, before we're completely out of time," he responded, taking a deep breath to calm himself as he thought of what was to come. "... Come on, guys; we have a battle to win!!" he cried out in a confident tone to the entire group, hoping it would rub off on everyone as he thrust his arm in the direction of the path ahead and began moving.

Nagisa, who had just recently joined the group where they stood, nodded her head quickly. After pausing for a moment as she gathered her thoughts, she started moving alongside Pit, trying to fight back her growing anxiety.

With a brief nod of her own, Lucina also began marching forward when Pit called out, her expression filled with a determined sort of seriousness.

"Yeeeaaaaaahhhh!!" With great enthusiasm, Cookie followed right alongside Pit. She made a conscious effort to keep her posture straight and tall as she marched ahead, trying to stay alert and ready far in advance.

Robin nodded, then followed after those who began moving before him. As was to be expected, his thoughts were racing in every possible direction, though he tried his best not to focus excessively on worst-case scenarios. As he walked, he took one last moment to examine his equipment for any signs of wear.

Haku, as usual, was among the last to get moving, and stayed towards the back of the group. She mentally told herself it was to keep watch for any surprise attacks from the rear, but she knew quite well that her being at the back was simply because she was sluggish.

Team Rocket marched happily on, humming to themselves and full of enough energy to pull a freight train.

Link was a slow runner, so even as he jogged to keep up he fell to the back of the group. But he never stopped for a second.

Bullet, who had been following at the back of group, now put Flint down, who dashed off to the front of the group with Pit an Cookie.

Bullet watched with a soft smile as he did so "So much energy." he murmured to no one in particular.. "Let's hope he uses it wisely in the fight.
