Breezepaw loved being a medicine cat apprentice, but rushing back and forth and back and forth was hard work! He wished he could get some time to relax.
He noticed some others in the nursery. "What's going on?" he asked.

Icepaw got after she finished eating the hare. She wandered around the clearing looking for something to do. She noticed Shadowdragon laying around nearby. "Hi Shadowdragon," she greeted him.

"Yay, let's go!" She started running towards the camp entrance, then slowed down when she realized that she didn't know where they were going to hunt. Icepaw stopped with a chuckle and waited for her mentor to catch up and lead them.

Shadowdragon led her deep into the forest then stopped. "Show me how you hunt."

Icepaw obeyed, tasting the air and making sure she was downwind. Before long she caught the scent of a vole. She lowered herself into a crouch, trying to impress Shadowdragon with how well she could stalk. Icepaw crept silently in the direction of the vole.

Keeping focused, Icepaw got close enough to the vole and pounced on it, killing it with a swift bite to the neck. She looked up at Shadowdragon, her eyes shining.

Icepaw watched him, impressed by his technique. She suddenly felt like she had to sneeze, but tried really hard not to, as to not alert the rabbit.

Shadowdragon pounced on the rabbit and gave it a swift bite to the neck, killing it. He looked at her and purred.

Right after he killed it, she let out a huge sneeze. "That was close! I could've ruined your catch catch easily." she laughed. "Nice job." Icepaw added, purring.
