Pebblekit finally had all six feathers hidden; one in Snowstar's den, one in the nursery, one behind Talonkit (where she thought he'd never think to look), and the rest randomly scattered throughout the clearing.

Hiddenkit huffed. They think they're having so much fun.
Flickerblaze had managed to calm herself down, so she padded out of the medicine den. "Hello, there, Pebblekit. What are you doing?" she queried.

"Alright, Talonkit, you can look now!" Pebblekit mewed. Noticing Flickerblaze, she whispered to her, "Don't tell him about the one that's right there."

"Oh, right." Flickerblaze nodded. "Of course I won't." She padded up to Hiddenkit with a look of concern and worry on her face.

Excited, Talonkit opened his eyes at once. "Great! I'll start looking!" he mewed. He chuckled as he ran forward, scanning the area for feathers as carefully as a kit could. The first one he found was behind a random rock in the vicinity of his starting place. Talonkit picked it and waved it around proudly. Before long he ended up in the nursery, where he soon spotted a second feather. "Found another!" he called to Pebblekit happily.

Hiddenkit hissed. "What do you want?" he spat furiously at Flickerblaze.
Flickerblaze glanced at Hiddenkit. "Why don't you want to be like those kits? Why don't you want to play anything? Why don't you want to do anything other than sit around and act grumpy?" she inquired with worry in her tone.
"Because my mother abused and abandoned me!" Hiddenkit retorted.

Talonkit flinched when he heard Hiddenkit yelling. He tried to push away his concern as he cntinued with the game. He'll be okay, Flickerblaze can calm him down... I hope. After a little while of searching, Talonkit found two more feathers in the clearing. He hard a harder time finding the last ones. "Hey Pebblekit, can you give me a hint? You must've hidden those last feathers in really clever places."
