Brigitte: *Is actually somewhat unsettled by Byleth's piercing, unreadable stare, but tries not to show it so much* *Chuckles kind of awkwardly* Eheh, alright then...! ōwō; Let's, uh... Let's get a look, shall we? *Turns back to the door and grabs the handle* ... *Carefully starts opening it*

Byleth: *Notices that Brigitte suddenly seems a bit awkward now* o_o? *Wonders if it's because of the suspicious shack, or perhaps because she's unsettled by her stoic demeanor* ... o-o! *Pushes her thoughts aside for now when Brigitte starts opening the door* *Stays alert*
Marina: *Squiiints her eyes in anticipation* e3e;
Mechanica: Ohhhh what're we gonna find in theeere...?? 030;

Robin: *Is also on the alert* *Sidles a bit closer to Brigitte's side, pretty much subconsciously* o.o

Brigitte: *Pauses for just a moment* ... *Suddenly shoves the door open the rest of the way with a thrust of her arm* o.o Well... Nothing, appar--*Sees a WHOLE LOT OF SCURRYING SHAPES all of a sudden*--UHH. O__Ô;; *Reflexively takes a step backwards*

Marina: *Caaarefully peeks around Brig* ... *Sees the MANY CREEPY SHAPES* *INSTANTLY PULLS BACK, taking quick, tiny breaths* 0~0;; EeeEEWW! O-on second thought, maybe we should just forget about going inside...!

Mechanica: What? Whaddaya see?? 0.0; *Trying to look around the much taller people* ... *Finally sees* PFFFFFFFFT. eoe;

Byleth: *Unsettled by everyone's reactions* o__o ... What is it...? *Inches closer and looks inside* ... *Spots them EVERYWHERE* ! *Abrupt, startled little gasp* o∞o;

Pearl: *Recoils* D8<;?! UGH, NASTY! What are those things?!

Ness: R O A C H E S . Dx ... I think? e.e *Is kind of off to the side and didn't get a very good look*

Brigitte: *Clearly grossed-out tone* Yep... Usch, there's gotta be hundreds of them in there. ē∞ē;

Marina: Roaches? e~e; ... *Takes another look inside the shack* *Full-body shudder* Urgh, grossss... Dx;

Mechanica: e3e; Why'd they let this place get so ICKY??

Robin: From the looks of it, I'd say it's been abandoned and they were going to tear it down, so... I guess it wouldn't really matter how, er, "icky" it ended up getting, as you said. o~ō; Still...

Mechanica: Oh yeah, probably. o3ō; ... Ahh, I know it's real creepy and all, but... Does anyone kinda wonder what else is in there? ... J-just a li'l, of course...?

Brigitte: Actually... After seeing that, I kind of DON'T want to know now. o___e;

Marina: *Half-stressed, half-amused sigh* <w>; I'dddd better follow her in... ĕvĕ;;; *Goes in reluctantly after Pearl*

Pearl: YEAAA! >8D Take THAT, gross--... *A ROACH LANDS RIGHT ON HER FOREHEAD* DDD8<<<;;!!!! AAAAAAAAGH!! *Totally flips out and comes running out of the shack* *Runs right into Byleth* OOF.

Marina: *Jumps when Pearl runs right past her and out of the shack* o~O; H-hey...!

Byleth: o.o *Watches as Pearl comes running out... and then keeps running RIGHT TOWARDS HER* ... O.O Pearl--*Is swiftly rammed into by the tiny squidkid pretty much before she can say anything, being sent stumbling backwards just a few steps* Ah...! >∞>; ... *Takes a deep, quiet breath, regains her composure (not that it was really all that lost to begin with), and slowly glances down at Pearl* *Opens her mouth to speak, but notices THE ROACH, which she didn't quite see until now* o∞o ... Pearl. One of those bugs... is on your forehead.

Pearl: ... ÔAÔ; IT HUNG ON?? *Quickly swats the roach off of her forehead... and sends it flying right at Byleth instead* BLAAAHHHH >o>;

Byleth: *Gasps as the roach goes flying and lands right on her face* Ngah...! O∞O ... *Can now feel it clinging onto her cheek with its roach feet* ō__ō; *Subtle little disgusted noise* ... *Blankly, slowly reaches up and pulls it off of her face, then swiftly proceeds to pitch it far away* >∞>

Pearl: *Sees what she just went and did* o3o; Oh snap. *Big snickering* Sorry 'bout that. êwê;

Corrin: *Is just derpin nearby* *Suddenly has ~the roach~ land right on his chest* OAO; WhaaAAAA! *Frantically swats it away*

Byleth: *Just staaares blankly at Pearl for several moments, still a bit flustered from all the roach drama* o___o

Pearl: ... *Is getting creeped out by Byleth's blank staaaaring* o________o; Uh...

Ness: *Thankfully jumps in at this moment, recognizing Byleth* o.o! Oh, hey! I remember you! We met at Mario's barbecue thing earlier, right? :D

Byleth: ... *Hears Ness and finally turns her attention away from Pearl* o.o! *Looks over at him, indeed recognizing him from the barbecue* Oh... Yes, we did. c:
