Marina: *Glances into the shack again* At this point, it seems like more of a challenge than anything. o__o; Personally, I wouldn't mind if we just turned back right about now...

Ness: Yep, I agree with turning back. This is starting to feel kinda... pointless. o3o;

Richter: *Suddenly meets back up with everyone* o__ō? ... What's going on over here?

Maria and Lucas: *Have both followed Richter back*

Mechanica: Oh hi Richter! O3O We were just about to go inside this weird shack here--*motions to the shack with her head*--but now we're not so sure.

Richter: *Looks towards the shack* ... *Just doesn't understand* :/ You wanted to go in there? ... Why? It's just a dilapidated old shack...

Mechanica: o-o Hmm... *Staaares at the shack* ... *Casual little shrug* I dunno! There's just something real mysterious and creepy about it, I guess. O3O

Pearl: Yeah! It was gonna be like a test of bravery, y'know? B-D Seeing which of us are the REAL hardcore ones.

Richter: Ohh... *Chuckle* I see. xD

*Suddenly, a bunch of the nasty roaches come RUNNING OUT OF THE SHACK for who knows what reason, going in all directions*

Mechanica: OoO! *Incoherent squealing* *Runs in a little circle, then blindly runs into Brigitte by accident* >o>;

Marina: *GASP* e/)(\e; Swaaaaaarmmm! *Jumps around, attempting to dodge the roaches*

Pearl: êoê; *Scurries aside* DUDE, NAAASTYYY! >o>

Brigitte: *Is collided with, becoming even more baffled* Guh-HUH?! o∞Ô; ... *Just keeps watching the roaches scurrying through the grass* e___e; Uuusch, that's just gross... *Attempts to dodge them as well, helping Mechie do the same, lightly pulling her out of the way of the things as they zoom*

*A ghastly shriek can be heard nearby*

Richter: *Becomes ALERT, suddenly wondering if the shack is cursed and haunted* Ô_Ô; *Protectively stands with the others, not caring about the roaches at all* *Reaches for a bottle of holy water* *Calls out firmly* Who's there?! D<

Mechanica: *Stops being disoriented after a moment* o~o; *Looks up at Brigitte* Th-thanks... *Is (hesitantly) about to look at the ground to see if the roaches have passed, but is caught off-guard by the shriek* EEH! o∞o; *Twitchily looks around*

Maria: *Also becomes alert at the sound of the shriek* O-O! *Chimes in while still flailing around, trying to dodge roaches* SHOW YOURSELF! Ò3Ó

Byleth: ô_ô;? *Quickly turns her attention away from the roaches, taking a battle-ready stance*

*Brief silence* ... *Quiet, echoey, whiny, frustrated groan*

Brigitte: o__o; Uh... What was that?

Maria: *Still alert, but also just plain confused* Umm... o-o; It sounded a little bit... whiny??

Mechanica: ... *Suspiciously glancing around* õ3õ;?

*Silence*

Zarya: *Suddenly comes over for some reason, looking a bit confused as to why everyone's gathered around a run-down old shack* o__o Hello again, uh--*suddenly feels something collide with her head-on* Oof... *Stumbles back a step or two* O__o ... That was strange. Did you all see that? o3ô;

Brigitte: *Notices the strangeness unfolding* o-o; Uh, hej Zarya... Yeah, that WAS strange. It's like something bumped into you!

Byleth: *Subtly nods her head in greeting when Zarya approaches, but just freezes at what happens next* ... o_o; *Braces herself for something to happen, though she isn't sure what exactly*

Marina: Aaahh... I thought this shack was just gross, but now it's REALLY giving me the creeps. e-e;

Maria: OK, there's GOTTA be ghosts here or something! Ò3Ó *Marches over to Zarya's side, looking totally prepared to ~rek~ some monsters*

Pearl: *Suddenly spots a shadow slowly moving away across the ground* O.O! *Points* YO, GUYS, OVER THERE! The creep's trying to sneak away from us! D<

Richter: *LOCKS ONTO THE SHADOW* Ò.Ó! THERE you are... *Winds up, then forcefully flings several bottles towards the shadow in rapid succession*

*They break before even hitting the ground... but no flames are produced* *Various distant-sounding shocked and flustered noises fill the area*
*Brief moment of echoey huffing*

Dr. Coyle: UUUUUGH! *Becomes visible* *Is slightly soaked... and very angry* WHY must I ALWAYS be pulled into everyone's NONSENSE?! ᛊ/AÓ;

Maria: *Watches in anticipation as Richter throws the bottles* Ò3Ó ... *Gasps squeakily when Dr. Coyle shows up* OoO! WHO'RE YOU?

Mechanica: *Watches with wide eyes as the Doc appears, soaked and ~angry~* Uh-oh... O.O;

Dr. Coyle: *Looks right at Maria with a bit of a sharp glare* ᛊ/3ó; *Slooowly floats over to her, looking a little menacing* *Speaks in a coldly smug tone* ... I am Dr. Coyle... Director of ARMS Labs.

Richter: *Steps forward protectively without delay, ready to protect Maria* *Super srs* I second this question. J< What were you up to, skulking around like that?
