"I'm Pastel." she said, pink curls falling over her face. "This is Misaki" she gestured towards the Lopunny

"I'm Zach. That's Buizel, I don't nickname my Pokemon." he said.

"Oh…" She said shyly "I like to make them feel special, not some other cookie-cutter copy"

He got offended. "I care for my Pokemon!"

Pastel took a step back. "Oi! I didn't mean it that way, I meant, well, um. I-I just meant" she stuttered

Zach returned Buizel to his ball and started walking away

Name: Nico
Description: Nico stands at a height of six feet and three inches, towering over many of the people he encounters. He has somewhat long black hair that frames his face well, also having side-swept bangs that tends to get in his eyes on occasion. His eyes are pale blue, and his complexion is rather pale as well. Nico usually wears a black pea coat over a white button-down shirt and dark blue jeans with tall black combat boots. He also has black gloves and a knitted scarf that he usually wears since Nico is usually a very cold-natured person, often feeling very cold.

History: Nico grew up on the streets for as long as he could remember, never having a real roof over his head or some place he could claim as his own home. His parents were killed in a gang fight that happened when he was a child, so he's basically raised himself. Being on the streets meant that it was a dog-eat-dog world that Nico lived in, and for much of his childhood Nico ended up being a thug and a thief just to survive. He's skilled in theft and hand-to-hand combat, but now that he has Pokemon he doesn't need to use that often. When he was around fourteen, due to a series of odd events, Nico befriended a Pachirisu. They became inseparable, and when Nico found time to swipe a Poke Ball from a shop, he used it to officially capture the Pachirisu, now named Voltage. He soon left the city that he grew up in and started travelling, defeating the Gym Leaders in the Sinnoh region. He's gotten all the badges but has yet to face the Elite Four, taking a break from training and just casually travelling with his Pokemon.
Personality: Finding Pachirisu and going on a journey to defeat the Gyms really changed Nico for the better, going from a boy with almost no morals and high cynicism to an almost adult that better understands what it means to live life to the fullest. He's still pretty cynical and a bit of a lone wolf, but once his trust is earned, Nico will be forever loyal to that person. Thanks to his stacked criminal record from his younger years, Nico is a little paranoid that there might be police that are still looking for him, though that doesn't really stop him from the occasional swipe from a bakery. Old habits die hard. He's been with his Pokemon for some time, and it's beginning to get to the point where he doesn't even need to talk to his Pokemon for them to know what he wants.

The sound of foliage crunching along echoed softly through the quiet forest, signalling the trainer's arrival to the area. He reached up to gently tug his scarf up a little higher to his chin before slipping his hands into the pockets of his black pea coat; his icy blue eyes scanning the area for any signs of danger. The trainer, Nico, was actually beginning to become a little tense; one could never be too sure of what might be lurking here. Beside him walked a Glaceon, who was also glancing around curiously before giving his trainer's leg a small, reassuring headbutt. Nico paused after feeling his Pokemon against his leg, and he smiled down at the Ice type. That Glaceon always knew how to make him relax, even if just a little. "Thanks, Frosse." Nico addressed the Glaceon by his nickname, then the trainer bent down to gently stroke Frosse's head, who smiled in return.

Pastel than returned Misaki, only to replace with Ayaka, sure than started to hunt for more pokémon to join her team.

Zach secretly followed her,

Ayaka scampered around the forest, leaving Pastel to run behind, she held onto to floppy black hat yelling "Wait up!"

Zach ran after her, trying to avoid any sticks so he wouldn't grab her attention

Ayaka suddenly paused, when Pastel caught up she crouched down and asked "What is it?" Ayaka than turned toward the direction of Zach, than ran towards him

Zach noticed and quickly hid in a bush

Ayaka stopped right infont of the bush that zach was in. When Pastel caught up, she asked "What is it, Ayaka? Is it a new team member?" she than peered into the bush and saw Zach, "Wha-?"

Zach blushed. "Hi."

Pastel cocked her head. She her face was flushed. 'Um, your not a Pokémon"

"Nope." he laughed

Pastek gave a nervous chuckle and blushed. "So, um, were you following me or something?"

"Yes, I was." he blushed

"Oh, um" she looked away shyly. "may i ask why?"
