The transition from realistic w/ elements of magic to full-blown superpowers could've been a lot smoother imo, it turned me away from the series for a while. Then Glim reminded me that a lot of my favorite franchises start off fairly realistic before escalating and going insane (in a good way), so I'll reread them with that in mind.

I also really dislike the amount of times "x and y love each other, but y is in a different clan, SO THEIR LOVE WILL NEVER WORK!!!! Will their love reach beyond Clan borders and prevail??? Well other than Tigerstar, Hawkfrost! He was a preeetty fierce and merciless fighter; I was very surprised that he ended up dying so early. Crowfeather can be scary and formidable too. Kehe, his personality aside, he's definitely a cat you'd want fighting for your side.  ...Y'KNOW WHAT, HIS PERSONALITY MAKES IT BETTER

I'd say the number of mistakes in the books, particularly in the allegiances. Pfft that whole "female Rowanclaw" fiasco, and who accidentally creates two cats named Ashfur??! And I've seen a lot of typoes for names, calling a kit an apprentice too early or having star before the cat became leader. Hopefully a lot of this stuff was fixed when they rereleased them with the new covers, I haven't gotten to see yet

Also yeah, that's annoying >n< Personally I dislike the constantly reused plots. It's like, they have nothing original.
