The Great Mall Adventure (V.2)

This is another RP where any character is welcome... However, this one has a different sort of flavor. ;3

THIS RP takes place in the biggest shopping mall in the multiverse. A mall of truly epic proportions, with a dizzying number of floors, and each level sprawling over an extremely large area. A mall that houses every sort of store and section imaginable, and some that can't even be imagined. It's so large that the entire RP will take place within its walls. A visit to this grand, vast mall is not but a mere shopping trip, but an adventure.
As may be expected, the consequences of breaking the rules of the mall are more drastic than an ordinary mall's. Any rule-breakers shall be seized by the guards, then imprisoned in the dungeon below.

Although not a "random" RP, this RP will be more likely to have comedic moments than most "serious" RPs due to the setting. That doesn't mean there can't be more "serious" moments, too, though. I guess you could describe this RP as a "dramedy". xD

Following this post shall be a post from Misty: the RP's co-owner.

In this post, I'll be keeping a list of every character in the RP so far for easy reference and such, which will be updated upon the addition of any new characters (and if anything else is needed, I'll add that, as well). So without further ado, the list~

"{Pfft, Rollers... Weapon of choice for tryhards everywhere, amirite?}" Slyk remarked with a bit of a snicker, grabbing his ink tank once they arrived at their destination.

Callie nodded in response, then began to eagerly await the countdown that marked the beginning of the battle.

"{Heh, Yeah,}" Marie replied with a small smirk as she grabbed her ink tank. "{They're alright, I guess, but if you know what you're doing... Countering them is a breeze.}"

At that moment, said countdown could be heard through a loudspeaker located somewhere on the ceiling. "{3... 2... 1... GO!}"

When they heard the countdown beginning, Slyk and Callie both adopted a ready stance, clutching their weapons. As soon as the voice said "{go}", they both sprang into action.

Cheering, Callie ran forward as quickly as she could, leaving a massive trail of ink in her wake. "{Now! Ink all the stuuuuuuff!!}" she cried, swinging her roller around madly and covering everything around her in a thick coat of orange ink.

Slyk quickly got to work inking a path forward, efficiently switching between his squid and humanoid forms to move as quickly as possible. "{I'm gonna meet 'em at the middle, if that's cool,}" he told Marie.

Lill began to ink a path in front of herself as she moved forward, instantly noticing the quite long range of the Dual Squelcher. "{Yeah, this seems great!}" she commented.


"{Sure; I'll just be looking for a good spot to snipe from,}" Marie nodded in response, creating a neat, thin trail of ink forward, changing into her squid form and swiftly swimming ahead.

Once the area around her and Lill's base was completely orange, Callie decided to advance. "{Time to face 'em head-on!}" After briefly dipping into the ink in squid form to refill, she dashed toward the middle of the battlefield.

Slyk, who was now on the border of the middle region, pressed his back against the wall. He made a tiny puddle of ink at his feet, then assumed squid form to hide and prepare for his attack. As he waited, he kept an eye out for Marie, to see where she was planning on sniping from.

"{'Kay; here we go!}" Lill cheered, continuing to make a path ahead and proceeding to swim toward the middle of the battlefield in squid form.

A few moments later, Marie appeared from a puddle of ink on a ledge overlooking one side of the middle area, immediately beginning to charge her Splat Charger upon doing so.

Slyk spotted Marie out of the corner of his eye. Now knowing that his ally was present, ready to help him in case he found himself in trouble, he began to make his move. He returned to humanoid form and popped out from behind the wall, then quickly began inking the area.

Callie simply rolled right into the middle area without hesitation. When she spotted Slyk, she began flinging orange ink everywhere in an attempt to interfere with his own team's ink-spreading.

When the Splat Bomb rolled toward his feet, Slyk quickly turned squid and swam back to avoid being caught up in the blast. However, as it turned out, the path he inked toward the very center had led him ofver a small ledge, which he couldn't easily go back over without taking a little time. As a result, he collided with a wall, squeaking in surprise. Thankfully, he was far enough away from the bomb to avoid being splatted, but was just close enough to still be caught up in the edge of its blast radius. "{Hngk...!}"

Seeing that Slyk was now stuck, as well as speckled with orange ink, Callie began charging toward him. However, she hadn't noticed Marie, perched on her ledge by the side.

Marie decided that this was likely a perfect time to strike, suddenly taking aim at Callie and attempting to fire a quick, powerful stream of ink toward her.

Callie was taken completely off-guard by the sudden attack, being stopped in her tracks entirely.
"{AUUUGHrrr...mmmllll... nnn...}"
Letting out a cry of shock, she suddenly burst into a cloud of blue ink and disappeared, with her hat and roller falling to the ground before vanishing as well a moment later.

Slyk, who had been somewhat frozen in place by surprise, was now able to move and free himself. He quickly inked the short wall and swam up to safety. Thankful that she came to his rescue, he briefly looked in Marie's direction and grinned widely.

Marie returned a little grin to the younger Inkling before focusing on the center of the area once again.

Lill jumped back a bit in surprise at the sight of her teammate's sudden splatting, quickly assuming squid form and diving into a large patch of orange ink. Slowly, she began swimming forward again, hoping she wouldn't be easily noticed.

Now that Callie was out of the way for now, Slyk quickly got to work spraying as much ink as he possibly could around the area. He felt much safer now, as it was currently a two-against-one fight, and his teammate seemed to be incredibly sharp-eyed.

After a few moments, back at the orange starting point, Callie emerged from the pool of ink, completely unharmed. She felt rather embarrassed after being splatted in front of Lill, and, for a moment, worried that she had let her down. However, she quickly pushed this thought aside and rejoined the fight, swimming back to the center.

Marie began to fire small, quick streams of ink into the middle area at this moment in an effort to help Slyk coat it thoroughly.

Her hiding spot rapidly becoming covered in blue ink, Lill returned to her humanoid form and began to walk backward, firing a stream of orange ink in Slyk's direction as she went. The opposing team's ink at her feet, however, made it rather difficult to move in any direction.

Spotting the scene from her place in the orange ink, Callie knew that she had to act quickly and craftily to save her teammate. Instead of heading directly back into the fray as she had initially planned, she suddenly took a sharp turn and ducked behind a wall, off to the side, turning humanoid and rolling again when she needed to extend the ink path. Then, once she was sure she had chosen a safe spot to rest, she signaled her younger teammate. "{Yo! Lill! You've gotta get OUT of there!}" she began. "{C'mon! Jump on over to me; I got a safe spot here!}"

Noticing that Lill was now in a dangerous situation, Slyk began closing in. Quickly, he swam as a squid towards his target, and once he was close enough, popped up, transformed back, and sneakily chucked a Suction Bomb over her head, intending to catch her off-guard with the trap if she were to turn and run. Once the bomb had landed, he then began to open fire.

With Slyk beginning to close in, Lill, seemingly having no place to run at this point, desperately continued firing ink ahead for a few moments. Before long, however, her ink tank ended up running completely dry, and, being surrounded by enemy ink, she wasn't exactly able to refill it quickly. Starting to panic, she stepped back a little more, unsure of what she could do next.
Then, just as she was beginning to lose hope completely, Lill suddenly received a signal from Callie. Realizing that she might still have a chance if she moved quickly enough, she entered squid form in preparation to jump to her teammate's location. Just as she began to launch upward, however, she felt herself being hit by several blobs of blue ink, which greatly weakened her. Additionally, she didn't even notice the Suction Bomb that had just been placed nearby, which could potentially burst into ink very suddenly and splat her mid-jump.

What is this character from?: Space Channel 5
Species: Human
Age: 22
Appearance: A young woman with a light skin tone, slender build, blue eyes, long eyelashes, large, pink lips, and medium length hair, hot pink in color, tied back in two high ponytails. Her current usual outfit consists of a midriff top and miniskirt, both white, and made of a shiny, futuristic-looking material. On the back of her top is what appears to be a pair of boosters, resembling a small jet pack. Additionally, she wears a silver headset, long, white gloves, and a pair of white, knee-length platform boots with orange soles. She keeps a blue laser gun on her right leg, and she holds her trusty blue microphone in her left hand.
Personality and traits: Ulala is perky, spirited, and absolutely loves to groove; so much, in fact, that nearly every move she makes appears rhythmic and dancelike. She tackles her job as a reporter for Channel 5 with incredible enthusiasm, and in addition to providing coverage on incidents, she routinely rushes into them herself to rescue anyone in trouble. Even when facing off against fearsome space villains in battle, she does so with just as much of a dance in her heart as always.
Abilities/powers/talents/etc.: It's a widely-known fact that dancing is one of Ulala's biggest strengths. Not only is she excellent at it, but when she's dancing, it continuously produces a sort of "energy" and fuels her morale and spirit, allowing her to conquer challenges with confidence and an incredibly positive attitude. When she's particularly full of this special energy, she may actually even begin to radiate a glowing, pink aura. In addition to dancing, she's been seen playing several different kinds of musical instruments. These include a guitar, drums, and keyboard, and her mic can turn into them whenever needed.
Ulala is armed with two blue laser guns (with her mic transforming into the one held in her left hand); one shoots a damaging green laser burst, while the other shoots a blast resembling a cluster of hearts. This heart cluster teleports any being it hits to her side; it doesn't harm them at all, and is used as a tool to rescue individuals in danger.

Elsewhere in the mall, a pink-haired woman was smoothly striding along, speaking into a microphone.
"Hey there, space cats!" she began, speaking with a sunny tone. "Ulala here, comin' at you with a look into an entirely unique shopping experience. The widest selection not in the Universe, but the Multiverse! That's right; this isn't just a megamall, but a whooole other dimension, where ALL is mall!"

Elsewhere in the mall, somewhere on a fairly high up floor, Flint strode through random sliding glass doors, wings carefully folded against his back. He looked around "I can't believe Scope actually got me to do this.." He sighed as he gazed at the multitudes of stores, levels, and the general busy air about the place. "Welp.." He whispered to himself "guess I'll find what I'm looking for, and get out." He put his hands comfortably in his pockets, and strode over to a nearby Keosk (I think I spelled that right) and scanned it for what he needed. He gently rested a finger on one store "right... So... just turn left... Left... and right.. and straight..." He turned, and started walking...

Flint stopped and looked around. "Greeaaat..." He was lost.

As she approached the back of the Leaky Cauldron filled with Muggles (non-magic folks), Hermione faced the red brick wall at the end courtyard, quickly glancing over both shoulders to make sure no one was watching. She whipped out her wand from inside her sweater and tapped three times: three bricks up, two bricks across. The bricks shuffled their way in opposite directions with scraping noises as an opening yawned in front of the witch. With an excited sigh, she flounced within the opening to Diagon Alley.

There were shops standing everywhere, towering here and there, washed with sunlight. OWL POST, OLLIVANDERS: MAKERS OF FINE WANDS SINCE 382 BC, QUALITY QUIDDITCH SUPPLIES, ZONKO'S JOKE SHOP, MADAM MALKIN'S ROBES FOR ALL OCCASIONS and much more were painted across them. The alleyway was packed with tons of witches and wizards of all ages. Owls hooted from their perchings and eager people gawked at the newest Firebolt broomstick. "The fastest broom in the world!" a boy of about 8 years old exclaimed to his father, tugging on the sleeves of his robes.
Hermione smiled at the familiar, magical atmosphere of Diagon Alley. She was headed to Amanuensis Quills to purchase some more ink, when she spotted Draco Malfoy slither in the dark entrance to Knockturn Alley, just to the left of Diagon Alley's entrance. Stealthily, Hermione followed after him.

Of course, he was heading to Borgin and Burkes, the shop that sold Dark Magic objects. Shaking her head in disapproval, Hermione crouched behind a bronze dragon statue that sat in the corner of the tiny, dark alleyway as Malfoy entered the shop. She gazed at him behind the dragon's tail and saw him conversing eagerly with one of the shop owners as he fumbled with a black necklace that was nested in a satin-silk pillow. Of course, it's a cursed object... Hermione thought angrily as she got ready to send an owl to Dumbledore, informing him of this (he's the headmaster of Hogwarts). However, something caught the corner of her eye; an electric blue spark was gradually glowing behind the shop and seemed to pulse. She curiously blinked at it and carefully stood up, walking towards it with furrowed eyebrows. She held her wand in front of her as she bent low. When she got to its location, she could feel a warmth radiating from it. Hermione stretched out her hand and touched the orb.

All of a sudden, she was swallowed inside of it and everything went black.

Ulala shuffled, swayed, and slid from side to side as she continued onward. As her gaze drifted around the scene, a winged, catlike being of some sort caught her eye. He appeared to be somewhat overwhelmed.
"Oh! There's a baffled-looking customer straight ahead!" she announced into her microphone rather excitedly. After pausing briefly to dance, she swayed and strode towards him. "Excuse me!" she called to him as she approached, mic at the ready. "Would you like to tell us a little about your time at the mall so far? It kinda looks like this place has you feeling in over your head!" She eagerly held her mic out to him, slightly dancing in place.
