Oskar - Male, 15 - Location: Inkopolis Plaza - Tagged: Sky, Lill, Hugh, and Mint
"Right... Welp, let's head up there..." Slowly, Oskar headed towards the stairs, which led to the platform that hugged the buildings on the right side of the plaza, including the Squid Sisters' studio. A feeling of persistent nervousness lingered within him, wondering what they would see upon peering through the giant window.

Lill - Female, 14 - Location: Inkopolis Plaza - Tagged: Oskar, Sky, Hugh, and Mint
With a nod, Lill followed after Oskar. Much like him, she was filled with persistent worry, almost feeling afraid to look into the studio window.

Mint - Female, 15 - Location: Inkopolis Plaza - Tagged: Oskar, Sky, Hugh, and Lill
Mint swiftly followed along as well, her nervous gaze focused on the studio ahead.

Kyle - Male, 16 - Location: Inkopolis Plaza - Tagged: Marie and Callie
Meanwhile, Kyle had just arrived in the plaza for a peaceful stroll, and perhaps to do a little shopping at Booyah Base. Having missed the recent broadcast, he was oblivious to the scare involving Callie's apparent condition.
As he was wandering along, he happened to glance in the area of the arcade machine, where he spotted two casually-dressed Inklings. He quickly recognized one of these Inklings as Marie, who had been wearing the same outfit during their earlier game of Tower Control. Noting that she didn't seem too occupied at the moment, he decided to head over for a small visit. "Oh, hey...!" he greeted in a rather casual, but still excited tone.

(Dang, totally forgot about Hugh for a second. OTL He'll get first mention to make up for it.)

Hugh - Male, 15 - Location: Inkopolis Plaza - Tagged: Sky, Lill, Oskar, and Mint
His teeth practically chattering with anticipation, Hugh scurried after the others--though surprisingly quietly, as usual.

Marie - Female, 17 - Location: Inkopolis Plaza, by the arcade machine - Tagged: Callie and Kyle
Marie was caught a little off-guard when she heard a sudden greeting coming from behind. "H-huh??" Looking a bit startled, she quickly turned to look backwards, only to see Kyle standing there. "O-oh... Uhm..." For a moment--most likely due to surprise--she awkwardly stared at him, apparently forgetting who he was. In a moment, however, it came back to her. "... OH! Kyle... right?" she finally responded with a small gasp. "Sorry... You kinda surprised me there," she apologized shyly, looking a little embarrassed.

Lill - Female, 14 - Location: Inkopolis Plaza - Tagged: Oskar, Sky, Hugh, and Mint
Running up the stairs leading to the platform in front of the studio, Lill took a deep breath, then slowly turned to look through the big window. When she saw that Callie and Marie were absent, her eyes widened. "! Th-... They're not here..." she stammered, immediately wondering where they could have went, her worry only growing.

Kyle - Male, 16 - Location: Inkopolis Plaza, by the arcade machine - Tagged: Marie and Callie
Seeing that he had caught Marie off-guard by accident, Kyle took a small step back, looking slightly embarrassed, himself. "Oh, uh... Whoops... Sorry," he apologized as well, then glanced reassuringly at her. "Nah, it's cool; I kinda came out of nowhere, there," he added with a slightly awkward chuckle. "... But yep; that's me."

Callie - Female, 17 - Location: Inkopolis Plaza, by the arcade machine - Tagged: Marie and Kyle
Callie, after a long struggle trying to keep her remaining life in Squid Jump, finally lost. "Aw, nooooo!" she exclaimed in disappointment. Then, after taking a moment to gather herself, she turned to Marie. "Welp, looks like you're up next, Mar-," she started, freezing abruptly when she noticed Kyle. Surprised, she repeatedly glanced between him and her cousin with a puzzled look, then waved at him in greeting despite her confusion.

Hugh - Male, 15 - Location: Inkopolis Plaza - Tagged: Sky, Lill, Oskar, and Mint
"WHAT?!"
Instantly appearing by Lill's side, Hugh stared in through the window to see the two empty seats for himself. "Hnnngh... That'sss really worrying," he remarked nervously. "Where do ya think they are??"

A few moments later, Oskar arrived at the window, as well, joining the worried crowd gathered there. "I... I hope they're just... out for a walk," he quietly commented, genuinely worried. "You don't think it could be an emergency or something... right...?"

Marie - Female, 17 - Location: Inkopolis Plaza, by the arcade machine - Tagged: Callie and Kyle
After giving a small, polite nod of acknowledgement to Kyle, Marie realized that she should probably explain to Callie who they were speaking to. "Oh, right; Callie, this is Kyle," she explained, motioning subtly to Kyle. "He's the guy I kinda... mentioned earlier..." When she realized that she was basically letting Kyle know that she had been talking about him to Callie, her voice grew significantly softer. She wasn't sure what he would think, and felt quite awkward. Bashfully, she gave him a smile, hoping things weren't about to get even more awkward.
