With a little smile, Samantha gave Mandy and Alexa a wave. "See ya."

"Later!" Alexa called to Samantha and Gabby, then went and turned her attention to the map. "Hey, yeah; that's practically right outside... kinda," she remarked, looking almost excited. Suddenly, a mischievous look appeared in her eye. "Heh... How 'bout we race there...?" she suggested impishly, grinning.

Putting the map away once Alexa had gotten a good look, Mandy glanced at her with a slightly surprised expression. "Race...?" she echoed back, sounding a little uncertain. However, she couldn't think of a good reason to turn the suggestion down, and thought it actually sounded quite fun. "... OK; sure," she agreed, grinning a bit, herself.

"Right onnnn! Heheh, I kinda expected you to chicken out," Alexa admitted, laughing. "OK, ready?" She paused briefly, preparing to take off. "Annnd... GO!!" Suddenly, she took off sprinting towards the exit, much to the shock and irritation of anyone she happened to pass by.

Mandy gave a small nod, bracing herself for the race to begin. However, despite having had a moment to prepare, she still seemed almost surprised by the speed at which Alexa took off from their starting point. "! Wahh...!" Taking off after her, she scrambled along in an effort to keep up.

Eventually, Alexa came rushing out of the building, then down the sidewalk. Somehow, she hadn't knocked anyone over yet, though she had plenty of near misses. When she had a chance, she took a moment to briefly glance backwards, to see if Mandy was catching up to her or not.

Several moments after Alexa had already left the building, Mandy burst though the exit, as well, making her way to the sidewalk. Along the way, she had just narrowly avoided bumping into several people so far, awkwardly apologizing to each one before continuing onward.

Noticing the distance between herself and Mandy, Alexa grinned, returning her focus to the route. When she arrived at the corner, she skidded tightly around it, and didn't even come very close to wiping out (though the risk was definitely real).

Steadily making her way down the sidewalk, Mandy saw Alexa disappear around the corner ahead and attempted to quicken her pace. However, as she was beginning to tire at this point, she couldn't gather much extra speed, and by the time she did make it to the corner herself, she just had to pause briefly to catch her breath.

By now, Alexa had arrived at the restaurant, and was leaning against the wall, by the entrance. She smirked when she saw Mandy appear at the corner, and took out her phone. Then, while flashing a v-sign, she proceeded to take a selfie, making sure that her opponent could be seen in the distance behind her.

With one last burst of speed, Mandy rushed forward once more, finally arriving at the restaurant after Alexa. "Phewww..." she breathed, letting herself lean limply against another part of the wall for a moment to rest. "Haaah... Congrats, Alex...!" she spoke between breaths, with a bit of an awkward, tired laugh.

"Heheh, thanks," Alexa responded as she put away her phone, snickering, but a flicker of concern soon appeared in her eye. "You OK, there? You sound totally exhausted," she remarked, but not without a hint of amusement in her tone. "I'm feelin' a little worn-out, too, but not THAT much... Haha. Not sure if that means I'm in shape, or you're OUT of shape..." A teasing smirk spread across her face. "If I had to guess, though... I'm thinkin' the latter."

"Y-yeah, I'm good..." Mandy assured Alexa, beginning to catch her breath. Then, listening as her friend continued to speak, she began to look slightly sheepish. "That... probably is it, actually... ahahh," she admitted in response to the latter possibility.

Seeing Mandy's reaction, Alexa just had to laugh. "HAAhaha! It's OK, buddy," she told her, giving her a friendly pat on the back. "Anyway, that race just made me even HUNGRIER," she admitted, wrapping an arm around her stomach. "Let's get in there already! Burrito time is upon us."

"Ahhh, yeah...! Burrito tiiime!" Mandy stood up straight when she was reminded of what waited for her and Alexa inside, opening the door for both of them and stepping through the entrance. Upon doing so, she paused to take in the various scents of food that instantly came wafting towards her, giving a soft, contented sigh.

Alexa strolled inside alongside Mandy, hands in pockets. "So... What do we do here? Is it like a fast food-type place, or do we have to do the whole 'sit at your table with a menu and wait forever' thing?" she asked, her gaze drifting around the restaurant's interior.

"Nope; no waiting, here," Mandy explained with a soft grin, motioning to the nearby counter. "We can get right to ordering over there...!" she continued, stepping forward to get a look at a large menu hanging on the wall above.

"AW YEAAAAH." Alexa instantly moved closer to the counter, staring intensely at the menu. "... Blah. I'm too hungry to think... I think I'm just gonna get a big one with, like, everything on it... Yeah, that sounds awesome," she thought aloud, her mouth watering.

"Heh, good choice...!" Mandy chuckled, the thought of such a burrito beginning to make her own mouth water. "... Yeaaahh... I think I'm gonna do that, too," she announced after a moment of staring indecisively at the menu. It truly wasn't that she was trying to ignore Samantha's warning; the constant scent of burritos in the air, combined with hearing Alexa talk about her own order, simply left her feeling hungrier than she really was.

Alexa was beginning to grow quite impatient. "Aaaaaaagh, I hope the line gets movinnngggg," she groaned, both arms wrapped tightly around her middle. "I think I'm gonna implooooodeeeeeee...!"

Mandy glanced at Alexa sympathetically when she noticed how impatient she was growing. "Try to hang in there a little longer... It looks we're almost up," she told her encouragingly, seeing the line begin to move.

Thankfully, within a few more minutes, it was finally Alexa and Mandy's turn to order.

"Ahhhhh! FINALLY."
Alexa rushed up to the counter, leaning forward on her hands eagerly. "Gimme a big one with EVERYTHING," she told the employee, almost looking mildly crazed.

Mandy followed behind at a more leisurely pace, hanging back a bit. Not wanting to prolong the wait for Alexa's order, she decided that she would only order something for herself once her friend had received her burrito.

The employee at the counter stared back at Alexa for a moment, his expression slightly startled, before responding. "Y-yes... Coming right up," quickly, he rushed to begin preparing a burrito with every available topping.

"Yeeeeessssssss," Alexa chuckled almost evilly, staring ravenously at the burrito being prepared before her with a grin on her face.

After several moments of preparation, the employee finished up by placing the burrito on a tray, then handed it to Alexa. "Here you go..." he spoke, still sounding subtly unsettled, but still polite.

"THANKS, man!" Alexa responded loudly with an enormous grin, grabbing the tray, then slamming some cash down on the counter. Not wanting to wait a moment longer, she then proceeded to take an early, eager bite of her burrito. As soon as she did, her eyes widened, then closed in an expression of bliss. "MMMMMMMmmmmmhmhmhmhm...! Mm. Uh yah." She swallowed before saying any more. "This is the bomb. Right here," she remarked, pointing to the burrito she had just tasted.
